Ha I never heard of that one either. Then again it never seemed to have made it to the actually screen. Still I really wish both of these where used in either of the TWO ANIMATED SHOWS IN THIS ERA AND SEVERAL COMICS!! How did no one mention these things exist? I demand retribution for never getting these in action.

 

Don't even get me started on the lack of V-wings and OG-9 Homing Spider droids

 

The Prequels Chronicles book has excellent pictures of the High Altitude Entry Transport 221, I will try to snap pics of those pages tonight. Keep bothering me til I do.

 

The High Altitude Entry Transport started as a concept design for a capital ship to be used in the opening scene of ROTS, but they ultimately discarded it. The design was then modified and repurposed for being a lander.

This tweet by Leland Chee might be of interest for those of you who are speculating on the nature of the New Republic TLJ trailer ships.

 

I hope Leland is suggesting that we'll be seeing Starhawks in the movie.

 

Ooh, please do. I've loved that design for a while, but that collage did include a couple scenes where I hadn't noticed it before even more pictures would be delicious.

 

Tervlon you asked us to bother you for prequel vehicle scans so here I am being a pest, gimme that UTAT, Venator, Munificent, Recusant, and everything else you can get your hands on

A detail I thought the group would like... I had an exchange with Matt Martin on Twitter about the Raider-Classs Corvette in Battlefront II. Appears to have been Leland's idea to include it as the story called for a smaller corvette sized craft to move Inferno Squad around.

It would also have been cool if they brought back the imperial commando escort carrier from rogue leader as inferno squad's ship.

 

So, the Poe Dameron comic gave us another look at a Maxima-A class heavy cruiser, this time in combat:

I like it better than the Finalizer actually BUT SPOILER THAT CRAP COME ON

I think it looks like a Star Destroyer with a Japanese battleship Pagoda-style tower:



So I kind of like the design.
