I am more certain than ever that the Raddus did not fully enter hyperspace. I am fine with it having done so, but still I think the fact that we can see the engine's light as the explosion happens makes it apparent that it was still accelerating.
I'm pretty sure that the Raddus is big enough that it would still have been visible at the "impact point" on the Supremacy - it's not that far away. Since (seen from behind) it appears to disappear completely before reaching the Supremacy (frames 6 and 7)- I'd suggest that it's a case of "objects in hyperspace can affect objects in realspace".
I guess but I saw that more as being that it was just going so fast that only the light was visible. Good point on it vanishing from the behind shot. If we are to assume it did enter hyperspace I like to think that this type of impact happens only if the ship just entered. Like if it went through that same path after taking off from D'Qar it would not affect anything. Though I am fine with the idea of ships in hyperspace being able to affect things in real space since the collateral and shear unpredictability is enough for me to buy that it is a tactic rarely used
We see some chunks(mostly of the bow apparently) when the Raddus makes contact with the Supremacy.

Alright nerds, how many destroyers were killed by debris?
Here's the image if anyone wants a go at translating.
Being as the screen seemed to relate to the Mandator’s, I presumed that was a breakdown of the numbers of said dreadnoughts.

At least two-three survived.
I went ahead and translated it myself. It reads:
PILLIO: OPERATION ELIMINATED
ATHULLA: OPERATION INTERRUPTED
VARDOS: OPERATION ELIMINATED
DATA CLASSIFIED BY COMMANDER HASK, GIDEON
“The Senate won’t stand for this.”

My timing on this could not have been more perfect, I found this regarding the Raddus and Supremacy and what it might mean for Ep IX:
Micro Machines are officially cancelled (again) so it's time for me to commit Sudoku Harry Carey
I mean, the new ones were never quite as good as the old, except for giving us some weirdo ones like the TIE Phantom and the Mando fighter. And TLJ really didn't give the line much to work with. Still, those have always been my favorite collectible. I'm bummed I won't have a Raddus to go with my Mon Cal ships.
Addendum: One piece of information may help tease out an answer. Hyperspace tracking relies on generating a "static hypserspace field" around the computers. Does it make the Supremacy bleed into hyperspace that much more?
Really? There was a formal announcement? Honestly, I'm not surprised. There were no TLJ ones and the quality of the new ones were subpar. I'll stick to my classic ones.
According to Pablo in the video that gif came from, this tactic only worked because of the size of the Raddus.
Can I say how much I appreciate that they're sticking the EU/Legends naming schemes and manufacturing companies for vehicles? They even did it with the Tank in Rogue One, same prefix for the number (TX-) and it was created by Rothana Heavy Engineering.
As soon as I saw Incom/Freitek as the maker of the T-70, I knew everything was going to be ok. It's the same sandbox we grew up in, just with different sandcastles.
Can we discuss what's in Rebel Files please? I don't have it yet, but I'm dying to know.
1) Anything related to the Battle of Atollon
2) Anything related to the Battle of Scarif
3) Anything related to the Battle of Yavin
4) Anything related to the Battle of Vrogas Vas
5) Anything related to the Battle of Hoth
6) Anything related to the Battle of Endor
Dig up the Rebel Files thread I opened. Anything new was pretty much posted there. The Battle of Atollon sadly isn't in the book due to timing.
Since you guys have been interested before in my stuff, I've made these guys:
About the whole Raddus/Supremacy thing, I think at some point, maybe when Benicio del Toro is trying to deactivate the tracking system he could have had some throwaway line like "This experimental technology disables the hyperspace securty protocols between this ship and the traced one" or "For this technology to work it needs to automatically shut down the shields of this ship to locate the hyperspace signal clearly". Something like that said fast in that scene would have been a nice little clue. Something that limited this action to just these two ships.
Those are awesome. Are there likely to be more in the pipeline - for ships like the Executor and other large ships - dreadnoughts, battlecruisers? I noticed when searching the page, that the Eclipse, among other EU ships, now has a MMch (micro-machines style?) model.
too expensive and I can't paint ;~;
