Roch, NY Fliers for upcoming events

I've put together a draft flier for the Rebellion to see what people think.

Jeff - I was going to take things from the flier that you had - but somehow I left the meeting without taking a copy. I recognized some of the text was from the FanForce FAQ - so I took some text from there.

With a little luck, I'll get a chance to run some of these off tomorrow. If not it'll be Friday for the fliers.

I'm going to try to run it on a color printer (thus the colors in the design) If someone wants to run some b/w copies I can modify it so that it looks good printed in b/w.

(p.s. - The flier is setup to be a half sheet of paper.)

 

I thought Nicky took one of those Fan Force flyers. Yeah I think it was just stuff off the web site. Anyway, that looks good to me. Very nice. Color is great but I think we will be changing it to B/W if we want to distribute these throughout the year. Maybe 4 per sheet. If you send it to me like that and I would make one and then take it to Kinkos and get 25 sheets done so thats 100.

I can run some, If you'd like. How many total fliers do you think we will require? 200? 500?

I wouldn't worry about paying to have stuff run at kinkos. I suspect that some of us have laser printers and/or have access to them at work.

I thought that I would print 100 for Monday (50 sheets). I really don't know how many we would need - but I don't expect Media Play to be swamped.

Extra fliers can't hurt - as there are other events coming up soon.

Duane - were you printing it in b/w or color?
Did you need me to drop the .jpg into another format for you (i.e. word or maybe a pdf).

For me - I just downloaded the image, open word.

Page Setup:
Landscape
Margins: Top: .5 Bottom: .5 Left: .25 Right: .25
(Margins may vary printer to printer)

Then I import the picture twice - putting a couple of spaces between.

It's probably easier to have me make a pdf - but I don't have that software on this PC - so that will have to wait until tonight.

Thanks for the Instructions! I have a Laser Color or a B/W available. Which do you prefer??

I'm probably going to end up doing a mix of both.
I have easier access to b/w printers

I figured it would be nice to have some color ones on top of the stack - but if we run out - b/w ones work well enough.

I'll let you decide what you want to print ;-)

The color fliers might be especially good (and eye catching) to hang in stores windows and such.

 

I printed up 100 of the fliers so far (Color).

We'll be dropping them off at Media Play tonight when we go to setup the table and banner.
