They don't have to do a reboot, but they can just flow-walk Anakin back to the future and leave Jacen in the past - mysterious, is the force!!!! Later they find a way to 'rescue' Jacen. Han's bloodline will no longer be bleak and maybe we can flow back toward SW Universe in the next series.

Communist society? confused I have no recollection whatsoever about a search for such in the book.

It's not as obvious in that work, but most of H. G. Wells other novels show his-Fabian inspired leanings towards "enlightened" communist utopias.

Read The Shape of Things to Come where it is made quite blatant. The Time Machine merely plays with the class obsession that Marxist had in that era.

I would love for Jacen to self-sacrifice in Invincible by flow-walking to a point in the past and preventing himself from becoming Darth Caedus in the present/future by forcing his will upon the Force.

But I'm not holding my breath for an ending so grandios.

And I wonder if the future financial success of SW Lit would be irrevocably damaged by the schism such a potentially polarizing ending would create within the fanbase.

    YAHOOOOOOOOO!!!

Since I stopped reading LOTF a while ago, it means I didn't miss anything!

That would be awesome...like an in-universe "infinities" tag.

As for the rest of you who bought LOTF in total...I'd be crying for a refund.

Funny cartoon, but did I miss something? Mara had a crush on Anakin? I can't remember that long ago.

And my vote: No flowing redemptions!

    Ben's birth. ;)

From a certain point of view, perhaps.

Like the POV of a blue, fuzzy Grand Admiral, for instance. [face_whistling]

Not Communist, Wells was more into Socialism. There is much more different between these two philosophies than just semantics.

Wells was hardly a Marxist - which was a rather pity, but that was typical of the left-leaning people of his time. Like they said about the Labour party MPs in the time Wells wrote his greatest novels, "they owed more to Methodism than to Marx". What Wells was mostly after seems to have been an orderly society run by technocrats.
