Hello, none of you have most likly have never seen me on the boards before. Let me introduce myself... Sw.. well, most people just call me Tessa.

Today I'm hopping onto a plane, and heading to London. I'm absultly excited because this is the first time I've been there.

So... just a question.. where are some comic book/action figure places? My dad's been here before and got me a figure, yet it was JarJar... [face_plain]
If anyone could give me a short writen tour of prime Star Wars areas in London, that'd be great!

    Thanks in advance!

I generally pick up my comics and collectables online.

There is/was a Forbidden Planet in London - New Oxford Street. Nearest tube is Tottenham Ct Road I believe? Unless its closed down? :p

Other people probably know of other places.

This link gives a few other comic shops.

It's still there... but the selection of shops isn't as large as you think it would be for a city that size...

Oh and enjoy the weather, it's actually being good for once :p

I think Forbidden Planet has closed down. Me and Stuey couldn't find it anywhere when we were in London.

You're coming to the Flugtag are you not Luke? If you do come for the weekend you could mooch about then, but its no more different than any other comic shop you've ever seen. [face_plain]

Last time I went into a FP (Edinburgh) I very nearly bought a Japanese import cuddly plush Jawa. [face_love]

D'you think the Edinburgh FP would notice if I nicked the Japanese import cuddly Ewok? £44.99 is too much for a teddy bear...

I don't know many shops in London cos 'someone' would only take me to HMV :p

Forbidden Planet was still there as of May 12. I know 'cos they got some of my hard-earned cash for Star Wars books and comics.
Didn't buy any figures tho as they didn't have anything I wanted.
