Does anyone have suggestions for books on using Foam Latex and Silcone for FX prostectics?

I remember a company making tools for attaching hairs to makes ups and I cannot remember the name of the company does anyone know of this company?

monstermakers.com has everything you'll need. Supplies and how-to books galore.

A simple search of the boards could have found you that info.

Monstermakers doesn't stock this item. They do have the books.

By the way nice job with with the Oola Unleashed model and Ploo Koon makeup...

    Thanks. :)

Monstermakers has foam latex for prosthetics, but I think you mean they don't have the tools for punching hair, right?

I read a cool trick in the Casting and Molding handbook by Thurston James.

Take a sewing needle and jam it into the end of a wooden dowl rod. Then use a pair of wire cutters and snip the needle through the middle of the eye. The result is a tiny little prong on a wooden handle. Then all you have to do is take your fake hair and use the prong to jam the hairs into the latex. Cool, huh?
