I'm making the tzatziki sauce and was about to add the yogurt and then was like "wait, that smells weird..."

Yeah, I totally bought vanilla yogurt instead of plain. The Boy is picking up plain on his way home, but that means that the flavors won't really have a chance to mingle. Oh well - they'll have mingled by tomorrow!

Here is the White Christmas I made!

    [image=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v457/Katana_Geldar/White_Christmas.jpg]

Ended up being pink and white, which is sorta nice.

    Had

    750 grams of copha
    5 cups of rice bubbles
1 bag of pink and white marshmellows
1 bag of chocolate coated sultanas
1 bag of small cherry ripes
    5 cups of decasinated coconut
    5 cups of icing sugar
    5 cups of powerdered milk

Then you melt the copha on low heat, as it's pure fat and will catch fire. Melt the marshmellows in a double saucepan like when you melt chocolate and then mike them all together and put it in a tray in the fridge.

Usually White Christmas has glace fruit, but no one likes that at my place.

My cooking skills are currently suffering from a distinct lack of a working oven. No osso buco for me. :(

But on the weekend at my sister's place my mother and I made some really tasty guacomole and bruschetta pastries.

I would be very sad not having a working oven, Matt.

    Jedichef, that's look good.

Parmesan Catfish and a baked sweet potato.

It's wonderful to be eating lots of fish. Since no one in the family liked fish I never really made it much. Now I'm collecting all sorts of recipes.

Why are you eating lots of fish? It's not Lent.

Fish is nice, though. I like barramundi

Mostly because I love fish and never really make it much since I was the only one who liked it.

Can you batter your own fish?

I used to do that when I worked in take away.

I just finished making a marinade for some pork chops with a recipe I Googled. I've never made pork chops before in my life, so we'll see how it turns out tomorrow. :p

    Stay tuned....

I would like to say, Yvette, that Flaming Cheetos and Taco Bell Hot sauce together are "Very Mild" at best.

    Habaneros are flaming hot.

    That looks sooooo good. =P~

I'm allergic to tomatoes so I've had to come up with alternate ways to make pizza. This is one of them:

    Uncooked:

    Cooked:

I used a garlic pizza bread as a base and covered that with cheese, then I added fried onions and mushrooms on top. I had meant to chop the onion instead of slice it, but it didn't make any difference. It was still good. :D

I made whole wheat waffles this morning for breakfast. Frieda one of these weekends we need to have you down again and I will make them for you. I made the maple syrup myself too (not real maple though just maple flavoring).
