    Actually the game was cancelled because of George Lucas, who apparently midway during designing suddenly stated he wanted the game to be about Darth Talon instead of Maul. a couple of weeks later Lucasarts cancelled it. This was before the Disney acquisition. So the blame of cancellation for this, as well as 1313, rests squarely on Lucas.
