Football has come back to Los Angeles.

Hello to any and all who have come across this.
My name is Jennifer but many have taken to just calling me Luna and I am from the IEFF.
I am an active member of the LA Amazons, LAs own womens professional football team.
(if what?s in the sig wasn?t enough )
I just wanted to get the word out that we have officially started our second season as
of last Sat with a win against the So Cal Scorpions, and that it continues with our
first home game this coming Sat.
Everyone is welcome to come check us out at any of our games or you can find out
more Here right now.

I already asked Brandon if he thought it might be a good idea to get a group together
for at least one of the games. (the group rate would be better for everyone in the end )
Course he hasn?t gotten back to me at the moment so I thought I?d get the ball rolling
and see if you guys might be interested in this.

If anyone does want to go to the game this Sat let me know cause I have presale tickets
or you could get a season pass for a better price from me.
I don?t mind driving to wherever and getting the tix to ya since I don?t do much during the day.

I can only hope you can make it to a game, but your support would be greatly appreciated in any way, shape, or form.

Would have responded sooner but the lose
from last week really messed me up.

But since we had a win tonight I'm feeling a
lot better despite the brusing and soreness.

I just wanted to let you know of the two
dates That would make for a good group thingy.

September 27th
&
October 4th

These are the last 2 home games and are well
enough in the future to give people time to
actually consider going. I'm letting Brandon
know that these are the choices for when it
is brought up in the next IE meeting.
I strongly suggest Sept 27th because I feel
that will be a win for us and if not you
can give me wedgies.

 

On Aug 23rd the Amazons were on the road to San Diego to meet up against the Sunfire.
We went scorless until the second half and would have had it tied at the end if one
touchdown was not called back because of a holding penelty and a 2 point conversion tha was in was not repetedly penalized.(grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr)
The final score was Sunfire 20, Amazons 12.
Next game is Sept 6th against the Florida Stingray at our homefield Citris College.
Anyone that might be interested can get $12 tickets from me or go ahead and us your stdent ID to get a better discount.
