Nic, I understand you completely... I'm usually not a big fan of football and find it mindboggingly boring when people talk about it, but I do like watching those bigger championships (the Euro and the World Cup).

Tactics bore me to death, though. I just want to watch the game. :p

I'm not going to shut up about it either. We had won that game!

**Passes out hankies for the weepy posters....Richie ** :p

Although, it was certainly one of the most exciting matches I've seen, you could cut the tension with a knife!

Well, we tried, thats the main thing...

    Very true Leigh! ;)

    * Whants to shake hands with england to know all is well *

Incredible match. There where some bad sittuations for both teams. Watched the all game. IT was exciting.

I must say i'm quite happy, before the match i was afraid of england being much stronger than portugal. But during it i imediatlly understood it was going to be one of those matches.. :) Full of good and bad emotions, and tensions. :)

Hugs from portugal. Hope your friends talk well about our country reception.

Hope you support Portugal to win the euro. :)
    Hugs and Thanks. :)

lol well here the drinks aren't as good Yosh :p

Unfortunatly I won't support Portugal, my other half is part Dutch so he supports the Netherlands so that's who I am going with for the rest of the time.

Well I don't drink beer so kinda cuts down the choices here. I drink more like Archers bottles and Breezers but they don't really have them here. I have only found 2 maybe 3 types here so less choice.

Although I have found the new versions of Malibu :D

OK, I've found his website. You can use Google translator on it which i've already done for you on the web address (Ah, how convienient!;)). You'll have to click on feedback on the menu on the top. I've already sent him something along the lines of:

**** you Urs! That Shouldn't have been dissallowed! Your A ****ing **ick! Sol Campbell's Goal Was Perfect! John Terry Jumped Before Ricardo And He Should've Moved If He Wanted To Catch It!

Only thing is, I've just realised he won't be able to read it 'cause I did in English. :(

I wanted France to win after we went out 'cause I would've won a leather football. Oh Well, this year's Euro 2004 is the crappest ever.
First, we get knocked out when we should've won.
Now, France are out so no football for me.

    :(

I'm going to be controversial - I think Terry did foul the keeper, and that the 'goal' was correctly disallowed

Well, whether you agree with the rule or not, if you raise your arms in the penalty box against the keeper, the referee will penalise you, in theis case for obstruction. John Terry's arm has clearly come across the keepers neck whilst Sol Campbell headed the ball in the net, therefore the referee IMO was right to give a free kick. It is irrelevant if the keeper made a half-gashed attempt at catching the ball.

We can moan all we want about the ref, but really we should be moaning about the rule which gives keepers too much protection.
