Just now tuned into a VH1 Movie called Daydream Believer: The Monkees

Saw it when it first aired, and just caught myself riveted by it again.

For all you Younglings...the Monkees were the "Stay at home - glued to the set" show and hit group of their time. While not quite sure how true some of the "behind the scenes" on this is...I had forgotten how frighteningly "dead-on" the actors who portrayed Peter, Davy, Mike, and Mickey were. AND how incredibly detailed the performances were on the songs..little subtle things that took me back to watching the show. Highly recommend it to everyone..just to see what the fuss at the time was all about. Unless you can get your hands on the originals... these are almost clones of the highlights.

    Yeah..The Monkees...good memories..good times...:)

LOL.. Missed the Temptations one..would love to see that.

The Meatloaf: To Hell and Back is the one that I reallyl want to get my hands on. From what I can find..I don't think it has been released as DVD yet. So have to keep my eyes open and try to record it next time it airs.

The one on Michael Jackson was interesting..talk about a slow decent into madness. WOW!!!
