No reason you can't... though I'm not sure why you'd want to :p

    Dear USA

Please pay us 300 years worth of back taxes

    Love,

    The UK

I celebrated 4th July every year that I spent in the US - I think it's moved beyond some statement of independence given the current global alliances that we all depend on. It's great to celebrate being American (I guess), and I did enjoy the big parties on the National Mall.

My only point of comment was that everyone cheers the CND fireworks (like fireworks that formed the CND logo when the burst), yet don't actually support CND when asked.

300 years worth? You're just trying to gouge us, aren't you? [face_not_talking]

    Dear the UK,

Please pay us money and things for saving your butss twice in the two wars. Or just forget about the taxes that you say we owe you, but really do not.

    Sincerly,
    The USA
    :p [face_flag]

    Best Independence Day EVER. [face_flag]

I went to my first all-you-can-eat ice cream festival and tried a little of everything. I also saw the Liberty Bell and watched the part of the parade and all the fireworks.

    How did you celebrate?

They're illegal here too, but people just go into the next state over to buy them.

It's past 3AM, and I still hear the occasional firework.

we watched the fireworks from six flags, and saw the people in the neighborhood shoot of theirs.

It's similar in my state. Fireworks are not illegal, but there are heavy restrictions on what can be bought. People go out of state to buy the illegal ones (the ones that make loud bangs).

    Saving us?

Had Germany won we'd currently be driving better cars, drinking better beer, have better looking women, and have won football tournaments more often.

    Yeah, cheers for that [face_plain]
