Abq FOR SALE: Han Solo Vest / Rebel Fleet Trooper Vest

Hey everyone,

I just thought I'd offer this vest for sale to my fellow Mos Alba members before putting it up on eBay. This is a Han Solo vest that I purchased from the Star Wars Insider back in 1997 (or thereabouts). The Insider was also selling the Luke Bespin jacket, which I did not buy. I have worn this vest only once...to an event at Toys R Us that lasted 2 hours. The vest has been on a hanger, covered in plastic, in my closet for the last 7 years. It is in BRAND NEW condition. In the course of cleaning out my closet with the intention of getting rid of some things before I move to NM, I decided to sell this vest and let someone else actually use it rather than have it hang in my closet for another 7 years!

Here are some details on the vest:

Color: Black, of course...and not faded.
Size: Medium (but runs a bit big, should fit Medium-Large).
Material: 100% cotton (never been washed) The material has sort of a denim texture to it, as you can see in the photo below.
Made in the USA!

If anyone from Mos Alba would like to buy the vest, I will sell it to you for $40 plus s/h. If no one here wants it, then I'll sell it on eBay, where I'll probably get around $70-$80 for it (based on a vest that just sold on eBay). If more than one person is interested in buying it, then I will flip a coin or pick a name out of my stormtrooper helmet so that eveyone who wants it will have a fair chance. If you buy the vest and it doesn't fit, just return it and I'll refund your $40. Sound good?

man if it was a XL or even an XXL I would so take it off your hands!

Could you do me a favor and get some more detailed pics and dimensions of the pockets? I already have a RFT vest, but would like to make it more accurate.

I am especially interested in the back pockets.

Hey, I'll like to buy it, if for nothing else then to make a pattern by measuring it all over... I made one but had to guess at all of the pocket dimensions and placements...
I would of course share all measurement info with everyone!

I'm thinking that most of us will be busy or out-of-town for the holiday weekend. So, here's the deal. If there isn't anyone else who wants to buy the vest by Wednesday (6/2) morning, then the vest is yours.
