For the record

Sunday night I made a post in which I called into question the effectiveness and "motives" of the members of the Advisory Council. I'd like to state that, what was an issue that should have been discussed privately between myself and Darth Aybabtu, I instead chose to parlay into some big act of drama, under the guise of concern for the future of the AC, the JC and DB. While it is impossible to unwrite that which has been written, it is possible to own up to the fact that it was a lot of clever phrases designed to have the maximun drama effect both here and on other boards. And none of it was based on any factual evidence.


While I did have some concern about certain statements that were made to me, the way I handled my dislike for what I had heard was incredibly inappropriate and served as nothing more than grand-standing on my part, and by rights should never have been brought to this forum, nor should the shadow of doubt been cast on people who at the time I considered friends and whom I knew had only the best interests of the JC at heart.

I'd like to state, also for the record, that as far as I know, the members of the current Advisory Council,and previous AC of my acquaintance, JediGregMaddux, Darth Dagsy, Darth Olsen Twins, QuiGonJim, Katya Jade, Master Salty, Anvia Fett, JediJeffro, AmazingB and Darth Aybabtu are not only some of the most intelligent posters, but people with a genuine concern for doing their part to try to improve the forums for everyone. I was wrong to insinuate otherwise, and truly regret any hurt or disappointment I caused them by my actions. It was an act of calculated drama and cruel malice for which there is no way to atone, and if I could, I'd undo it, but it's been done, and if there was a way to undo the damage that has been done, I wish I could do it. Sadly, the only way I can is by expressing it here. I'm sorry. Mere words, I know, but it's all I have to offer.

...and i think "cruel malice" is being a little hard on yourself. i've seen "cruel malice" and what you did pales in comparison.

 

Well I'm not familar with you and I know you're a complete fool anyway.

 

At least you can admit you were wrong. That's more than can be said about others.

And it does take guts to do so, and I admire that you did.

Thanks Tess, that was big of you to do that.

I just hope that in future all the proper channels can be taken to deal with any issues people might have.

Oh, and I'll also point out that your initial statement most probably wasnt directed at me, given I hadnt joined the Base when I was an ACer. So the insinuations probably werent directed at me.

But I'll keep those compliments anyway.

That was incredibly big of you Tessa. I know how hard that must have been to write, so it shows a lot of courage and humility on your part.

 

Tessa, you and I both know we never liked anything the other did, but I am floored by what you have done. It takes a lot of, not only guts, but the pride-tossing as well. To some you may have put yourself lower, but to myself, and others I'm sure, you've just gone higher.
