Oceania For those of you from outside of NSW: Will you be visiting the Magic Of Myth exhibition?

Anyone from interstate or across the Tasman going to be coming to Sydney to see the Star Wars: The Magic Of Myth exhibition at the Powerhouse Musuem?

 

Hell yes. I'm making a road trip in January.

I'm from Melbourne and I would just have no one to go with, but to who ever is going, it should be great!

 

I'm going well, hopefully. Probably driving up around December.

 

I think I read that its on until February, so everyone has plenty of time to make plans to come and see it.

 

I will be there on November 12, I think it is. Already planning the day too as the Jamiroquai concert is that night.

I'm also thinking of making a trip down on December 15. It'd be a good day out for my girlfriend's birthday and aren't they showing the movies once a week at that time? I'm sure I saw that return of the Jedi was on 15/12 down there.

 

I will go, only if I happen to be passing by in Sydney for any reason.

 

I saw it on the Today show this morning. Jeez, that Sami Lukas is going places since leaving Channel 10.

 

Went to the opening last night and saw some of the VIC FF crew there. If anyone's passing through Sydney, take half a day out of your scheduel and visit the exhibition. Take your time and soak in as much as you can. Some very nice peices on display and some very cool interactive features.

 

Well, since someone is twisting my arm, to do it, I guess the answer is yes, I will go sometime.

Leaving October 18th (after lunch)
Staying in Sydney at the "Wake-up Sydney" back-packers retreat.
Speading Saturday at the Museum and sightseeing around Sydney.
Saturday night is at your leasure.
Sunday we will be attending the Sydney Skyforce full day Mini-Con.
Leaving Sydney Sunday after 5pm to drive back to Melbourne.
Arrive back in Melbourne Monday 21st early AM.

Cost is $250 per head.
Includes travel costs, Hotel, Museum, Mini-con, and a trip on the Monorail.

Limited seats....so let me know ASAP if you want to go.

Just thought I'd say from Britain. I had to good fortune to see the exhibit in New York while I was waiting on line for AOTC in May. It is defiently worth seeing, and you guys should find it very interesting.

BTW, I was raised in Hobart, so a big shout goes out to all the Tasmanians in 'da house!

 

How many of the FFVIC guys are coming up for the Skyforce? That'll be cool to meet y'all

We should have about 20 people coming up from Victoria....some from FF....some not.

I'll see what can be done about bringing Vader up this time......as long as we have enough space for bags....he'll be there.

I'll also remind everyone about bringing costumes etc with them.
