Hey wedge, I know the people who own Raymond Terrace cinema, they're the parents of DA's bestest bud. I saw LotR up there! That place kicks arse! Is that where you'll be seeing AOTC??

Nah, it's about 30 minutes past Newcastle itself and since the bypass has been put in there I haven't even been through RT for a few years now. So I haven't even seen the theatre. But it's supposed to be pretty decent.

My grandfather was the minister of a little church on the old Pacific Highway there through the 80s and early 90s.

Well, I went to Raymond Terrace Public School for a short period of time when I lived there. And years later, my wife went to a primary school there and lived next door to it.

Of course, there wasn't a cinema there then....

Stinrab, my friend, I have the answer to your problems...

I found this site a few weeks back. Just choose where you're travelling from and to, and what time, and it'll generate a travel plan for you - what bus/train/ferries to get, when to get them, how long it will take, the whole kaboodle!

Who said the government is totally useless?

I sais the government is totally useless, I tried to use something like that during the Olympics to get to Homebush and it added an extra hour and a half to my travel time. I found out why later, because the private bus company that I should have used wasn't a member of their consortium.
This smacks of a trade federation conspiracy methinks ... hmmah

I'll vouch for Toohey's New. But then again, I haven't tried Old.

Since when did this become the beer thread? ?[face_plain]

    Yeeeeah!

Anyway, is there going to be a Newcastle meet? If it's going to happen, there will have to be some sort of plan in place.
