for those who made a movie, i need ur opinion

what was ur movie called, this is so i can watch it and decide if i want the saber fx from that movie for mine.
also state what program u used for the saber fx.

Dude, you're trying to do too much in one night. Relax. You can't learn everything at once. Besides, I think you will find almost all the info you need in the tutorials and FAQ sections.

It was called "Young Jedi: High School Student". It ain't on the 'net at present.

And if this is a post saying "Audition your lightsabers for me so I can ask you to do them for my film", I warn you that responses may be tepid.




EDIT: Am I the only one who found it a little odd, and sorta scary, that the original post assumes that every SW fan film has lightsabers... and that's pretty much correct?

After Effects is a great program to use (don't ask where to get it for free or you will be torn apart) and the Ryan_Wieber method is widely known as the best and the tutorial can be found in the 'tutorials' section.

EDIT: We used Adobe Photoshop for the saber effects.

 

I used photoshop for the sabres in Dark Skies, but it's pointless looking at them, becuase they are pretty bad.

I would also recommend the Ryan Weiber/Link64PD AE method as well, which I am using in my next film. Check out the tutorial section in the theater.
