Force and Magick

(Some mild spoilers, so don't read if you haven't seen the episode "Visions and Voices")

So, after finishing the "Visions and Voices" episode, I got curious about the Nightsisters' "magick". While Maul says in this same episode that they use "some aspects" of the Force, the rituals and techniques seen in this episode (ichor ghosts, magical drinks, ghost possession, and in Clone Wars, even voodoo...) aren't quite like anything else among Force skills...
My question is (since Wookieepedia doesen't say much on the subject) is the Magick some force technique with an arcane-sounding name (like Sith Sorcery or Sith Alchemy) or is ot something even more "supernatural"?

Also, why only Nightsisters are able to use that green foggy ichor? Is it tied to Dathomir or something?
