<<<FORCE CHOKE in preview for Chapter 25!>>>

I just saw the preview for tomorrow's series finale and Anakin says, "I must defend myself," at the end. We then see a glimpse of him using Force Choke with all of his anger! For all those you don't know, Force Choke is a dark side power and if Obi-Wan or any other Jedi finds out about it, Anakin will be banned from the Jedi Order.

 

Tch, *if* they find out.

And no, you don't get canned from the order for using a darkside power *once* carelessly. Jedi prefer to rehabilitate if at all possible.

 

Didn't see the preview... unfortunately. But Anakin has already summoned the dark side before... his doing it again isn't really that bignews... and plenty of Jedi have been dark and still been in the order. Look at Quinlan Vos. I mean he friggin murdered a Senator and they let him back in.

 

YAY! I saw that preview too! Can't wait! He looked REEAAALLLY Angry in the preview...rightfully so...it's going to be awesome!

Luke used the force choke in ROTJ... It's not the power that is evil, it's the intent.

Anakin basically creates new ways to use the force sometimes.i believe him when he said he was defending himself.

I don't remember Luke using the Force Choke. Where in the movie was this?

 

When he enter's Jabbas Palace at the beginning, he chokes the 2 guards that block his path.

 

It looked more like Luke was using the same technique that Qui-Gon used on Jar Jar in the bongo because it didn't look like those gaurds were choking to me.

 

You might want to watch it again then. They clearly stumble backwards grasping at their throats.

 

They were choking, no doubt.

 

Yeah, this has always been acknowledged as Luke using the Choke.

Oh, the Force Choke! I saw that...I can hardly wait to see this next chapter.....*oozes* I am sorry...but Dark Anakin is incredibly sexy.....this just keeps getting better and better...nad I never even saw the first volume...I just got into this for Jedi Knight Anakin.....

I'm glad I wasn't the only one that noticed this spoiler in the preview. Can't believe I saw this but didn't see the Vader mask in the cave. I wonder how it happens... Guess I'll have to wait for 3.5 more hours. I just bought the DVDs for TPM, AOTC and CW Volume 1, so I'll peruse them until then.

Read through the Clone Wars Chapter 24 Discussion Thread. The cave and Vader mask scene are from that episode and discussed there.

 

If you really like the force choke read the Republic comic series. This is where Anakin learns and uses the force choke for the first time. In the battle of Jibim. Its also detailed in one of the clone war novels i believe...
