'Force Speed' whats the deal?

    Yeah, Obi-wan was tired from getting kicked around the platforms. If it was a game, his force bar would have been really low from all the jumps he'd made.

    Look at it this way. If the Jedi could use 'Force-speed' continuously, then surely they'd fight with it too, in duels etc.
    As someone already stated, it probably uses alot of energy to perform, and is only used as a last resort. Otherwise you could argue, why didn't they use it to escape the arena battle on Geonosis, chasing Zam on foot to the Outlander Club, etc.

    Also, it isn't exactly a PT thing. Doesn't Luke use it to jump out of the Carbon Freeze in ESB?

    Its seems the Jedi are forgetful of the powers they do have in a lot of situations. :D Like why didnt Qui-Gon force-push Maul into the pit that was available after the electrical door opened ? Since Qui-Gon was mediating before, Maul would have be caught completely by surprise. :D

    Thats just a normal Force-jump, like what Obi-Wan uses in TPM.
