I've just sent the ladies another email, but no sense putting this off til we hear from them because if Terry and Liann end up doing the kitchen, then they'll need to know our dietary needs as well. So please post your allergies/preferences in this thread, so we can get things rolling ASAP.
I have high hunger so lots of everything!!! lol Seriously, that's one limitation I don't have. I just can't stomach things like hot dogs and McDonalds because once you know what's behind the scenes, you just can't go back.
TAKEN FROM LAST YEARS THREAD: http://boards.theforce.net/Edmonton,_AB/b10363/16666489/?64 Breakfast: I am basically a white toast, bacon, and pancake guy... NO eggses precious, not much of a fan of french toast or anything fancy like that either. Toast and butter or peanut butter is good for me... Lunches/Dinners: I like things like burgers/hot dogs, I enjoy potatoes, but usually only if they are baked/whipped, etc. I do NOT like cooked vegetables; other than corn of course. But cooked carrots/diced potatoes/greens are not my thing (peas/brussel sprouts/etc.) I will eat things like carrots and broccoli and celery uncooked however, and I enjoy a regular "house" salad. I enjoy your basic snack fruits such as apples/oranges/kiwis and can even eat bannanas if I am hard pressed. I'm not much of a melon fan (unless it is watermelon) but I will eat them if there is nothing else available. I love having cold meat sandwiches on white buns/bread; roast beef or ham or corned beef or turkey/chicken is good. Mozza, marble, or swiss cheese are good too. I'm not much of a fan of tuna/chicken salad/processed meat sandwiches however. I also don't like potatoe/macaroni/coleslaw salads all that much. Chicken noodle, or creme of chicken soup for the win... all others I can pass on. I love most pastas; with beef or alfredo being my favorite sauces.
I'll never forget that Christmas party where I had set aside Kit's raw carrots and when John saw them it was like I'd kicked his puppy that I didn't have some for him too. Always pays to let people know ahead of time.
I feel ya Berx. I think we should organize a hunger strike. That is to say, strike it down with all our might. Hurry up and clear, stupid check, go go go lol.
Hey, it helps to be specific... LOL Besides, if I let people know what I am willing to eat, hopefully they will have the food that I like! That way I don't go hungry!!!
LOL, rule #1 about my cooking, "Eat It Or Starve". I want to get an apron to that effect one day but I never remember to use them anyway.
