Mace is no ordinary Jedi.



I see the Star Wars universe as working like D&D with Jedi. Mace is 18th level. The rest of the Jedi are 7th.

 

Dude, his point is that if Mace were regularly capable of what we see on Dantooine then the other Jedi could have just sat back on the transport ships until they were actually needed and Mace could have rescued Anakin and Obi-Wan single-handedly. That's not something you can explain away with "Mace is higher level", c'mon.

 

Yes, almost like Mace Windu went after Dooku by himself and planned to do the heavy lifting....which is what happened.

 

Yeah - what I am saying is that if Mace was capable of half he was in that cartoon, the entire droid force in the arena would have been punched to death in under a minute.

 

Mace just didn't want to give the game away too soon. He wanted to lure out the true villain. If he showed his true powers in the first match, the mysterious Sith enemy would be prepared next time.

He could afford to go all out on Dantooine because nobody lives there but barefooted hicks.

 

What about during the battle of Lassu in TCW? What the hell was Windu doing wasting time recruiting Cham Syndulla if he could just force jump over the holo-bridge and punch out Wat Tambors entire army?

 

There are a LOT of battle droids.

 

More battledroids than this?


(And yes, I know half of that is clones. Still more droids than on Ryloth.)

 

Are we remembering the same AOTC? This is the movie where Mace beheaded Jango, then stabbed Dooku, arrested Nute Gunray, and then destroyed every single battle droid just because they could not handle the awesomeness of his purple lightsaber. And lest we forget, while Dooku was dying, Mace mind-tricked him into revealing Sidious's identity.

That is the SW movie we are talking about right?

 

All right, let's drop this particular tangent, now, before it takes up any more thread space. I guarantee it isn't going anywhere.

I am pretty excited. That clip seems to me, that Luscasfilm is taking this project seriously, and we aren't going to get nonsensical team up side stories.

So do I have to subscribe to the Disney youtube channel or can I just watch these as soon as they're uploaded?

Having seen a bit more footage this doesn't look as "How great powerful and utterly amazing are girls, kids?!" as I was worried it was going to be. Plus props for including Padme in the trailer- every little helps for us prequel fans

 

I'm pretty sure you don't need to be subscribed to the YouTube channel to watch them.

 

Really liking the art style of these, should be fun.

 

Was that Anakin or Luke in front of the Force tree? I'm thinking Anakin, but... post-ROTJ Force vision please?

 

Please don't be region locked. The Star Wars youtube channel is pretty good for not region locking stuff to only the US, Disney, however, totally does do that.
