    IC - Thule

Thule knew this name. Mantissa he hissed, childhood memories aside. He burst from his shackles his metallic arm had been working on them for some time and grabbed both men by the throats. With his force amplified strength he threw these two men like ragdolls across the room following up with a couple of chairs that he sent after them. He used the force to pull his light saber to him and he activated it. He also drew his comlink and clicked it twice, a call for help. He wouldn't be caught off guard again. He glanced at the door and opened it with the Force.

"If you wish to speak to the Jedi, you will lower your weapons now! You will also remove your helmets and utility belts and you will place them on the floor. Now!" Thule shouted. He moved to the door and stepped into the hall not taking his eyes off his attackers. Two jedi ran towards him. He looked at them and then at the bounty hunters, he again clicked his com. "Master Joy, we need you. We cant wait, we need you now!"

    In orbit above Tralus

Above the planet Tralus in the Corellian system there was a truly remarkable feat of engineering. A cloaked ship, invisible to sensors, and thanks to the Sith alchemy imbued in the hull and the bulkheads, invisible to the Force to... unless, an individual with a familiar enough knowledge of such dark side magic was specifically seeking the signature of the occupant of the cloaked ship. This occupant was Darklighter.

IC: Cockpit of freighter Eskrey'a en route to Coruscant

Darth Dreadwar was deep in meditation. He was on the final leg of his journey to Coruscant, the capital world of the Galactic Alliance. He was probing the Force, navigating the now familiar currents of the Corellian system, searching the energy for a familiar signature hidden by his own dark side alchemy... He closed in, opening a telepathic link with "Sieg" "Darklighter" Aegnost Necar?afar Drake, Minion of Darth Cadaverous' Sith Order and secretly Dreadwar's foremost agent in the Core of Power, the first and greatest Guard of the Citadel.

He sent a message through the Force, reaching the chaotic mind that sleeplessly rested in the dark of space.

Darklighter, Mantisa is coming to you. The time has come... As soon as a B495-JX shuttle with the SD code 401 exits hyperspace, hail it. Announce who you are, and who your allegiance is to. Land with him on Tralus, and begin preparations for the attack.

    [GM POST]

    OOC:

This post may not be as long as my previous ones, but I felt that I needed to get it up.

    IC:MasterJoy -- Coruscant -- Jedi Academy -- Private Quarters Exterior, Hallway~

Davian Thule's voice came over MasterJoy's comlink,
"MasterJoy, we need you. We can't wait. We need you now!"
I am sorry, Eroth....I will speak with you later...I must go immediately."
She told the Jedi Knight before he could respond to her statement concerning the missing padawan.
Then, after bowing to him, the Jedi Grand Master hurried away.

The Jedi leader broke into a run. Reaching the location, the Jedi threw open the door. Her eyes went wide in shock, seeing two bounty hunters and Jedi everywhere. Then, her eyes fell on Jedi Knight Davian Thule. Taking a deep breath, MasterJoy, in strong, but calm tones said,
"Release the bounty hunters immediately, and move away from them.... Return any and all weapons that you may have taken from them right now."
Looking directly at the bounty hunters, MasterJoy said in calm and gentle tones, yet with authority,
"Cassius and Marcellus Fett, please, follow me, and we will go to a private place to have our very important discussion. ...I will allow Jedi Knight Davian Thule to join us as well."

The Jedi Grand Master led the men down the hallway, turn left down a shorter hallway, and stopped at an aqua blue door with white letters on it that read, "Conforence Room." She opened the door, and stepped inside. The room was aqua blue; the chairs, the tables, the floor, and even the ceiling and walls were aqua blue. Taking a seat at the head of the table closest to the door, MasterJoy motioned to everyone to join her.
Welcome, great bounty hunters....It is a pleasure to meet both of you."
The Jedi leader said, smiling sweetly, speaking in soft, calm tones as she looked directly at both of the gentlemen.
I am so sorry about the trouble earlier, but now that some people know you, I am quite sure it will nnot happen again, right, Knight Thule?"
She said, with a grin, winking at the young man. Then, turning her attention back to the bounty hunters, she asked,
"What is this information you have obtained that could be a threat to the Jedi, myself, and the galaxy?"

    Rasa Ruu'ta-Li
Master Gardens, Jedi Academy - Mid-Morning

Rasa sat, amused at the newcomer, when she saw Jaron finally enter the gardens from another direction. She waved him over, then gestured so that he would see the new comer relaxing in the garden underneath her tree. The man was so relaxed that Jaron was able to come near, and began to work on what he was wearing. She thought he looked perfectly fine to her, but some humans were rather sensitive on their appearance, so she said nothing, simply preferring to wait. She bent her left ear over slightly towards him as a silent greeting as he moved over to sit down on a rock.

Rasa was quick to notice that he had a lightsaber, which he un-clipped off his belt and began to examine it. She could not wait until she could make her own lightsaber. She held a perfect picture on her mind on how she would make hers. Of course, hers would be a bit different to deal more with her massive paws, but she had it all planned out.

Jaron's was mostly silver, with many strange bits and pieces on it. Hmmmm. She imagined that he had some interesting things on his saber. As he sat, trying to polish his lightsaber, was when Rasa spoke to stranger in the garden, as she began to wonder what he was doing here. It seemed to her, that MasterJoy was a very busy Jedi Master, and they would most likely end up taking care of themselves, at this rate.

The rocks that Rasa had been levitating, she let them float back down as she waited for the stranger to reply to her question. The sun was warm, and it was a nice day out. Rasa decided to use this opportunity to expound on her studies on her human companions. Now that Jaron was there, perhaps now she would have a chance to speak with him as well. They might have a long wait in the Gardens, so it would be best to find out more about her new partner. And the stranger.

Rasa's watched below her with curious eyes, as she waited for a response.

"Master Jedi I would like to apologize for the abruptness of our visit to your academy bu the circumstances necessitated just such an action." Cassius removed his helmet and sat down across the table from the Jedi master. Marcellus remained standing behind his brother staring at Thule while resting his hand on the beskad strapped to his utility belt. "Master Jedi I am afraid that I must inform you of an imminent sith attack and plot to undermine your seemingly flourishing order. We have recently detained and interrogated the crime lord Mantissa who appears to be working alongside the sith. I have video and audio files of the interrogation along with a detailed report of our encounter with a sith illusion. While we were..." Cassius glanced over at Thule. "Waiting... to speak with you we received a transmission from a bug placed on Mantissa. The Sith lord behind this plot will be on Coruscant. They also plan to attack the planet of Corelia. Master Jedi I am sure that from even this brief description that you can understand the severity of the situation. My brother and I would like to volunteer our... unique set of skills to aid you in hunting down and eliminating this threat. If you deem this request acceptable then we would like to set out immediately to begin out search."

Cassius slid over a datapad that held all of said data and folded his arms staring at the Jedi Master.

IC Sieg?Tralus? orbit ? The Nox

Alone, the twisted mind sat. Torn between emotions all of which fight for control, as his mind sleeps; they do torment him in his dreams, but when he wakes the emotions flee or bow before him. Long has his mind been torn and at war with its own self. The Price of this war is great, losing all but the few memories he still has before his master came.

It was his master now that called him in through the depths of space, waking him from his slumber. Hearing his master's familiar tone inside him, his eyes awoke and appeared as black as the vacuum outside, if not blacker.

Coming into consciousness he rubbed the nightmares away, and back into their cells. I hear and obey my lord. A B495-JX shuttle, The name sounded familiar. Soon, the image of the craft stood in his mind.

Soon Sieg, Darklighter, or Aegnost Necar?afar Drake, each one of his many names, began to truly awake from his nightmarish sleep. Lights crackled in the ship, bathing the inside of the ship in deep blue. The ship changed colors with his eyes, Sieg never really knew why, but it conforted him. Looking throughout the ship, he found the cloaking remained on. Not a soul in the galaxy, save for his master and his memories could find him.

Sieg estimated he would have a good standard hour to prepare for this Mantisa. He was considered one of the best, if not the best, in his masters Core of Power. As such, he thought it only appropriate to wear his Citadel Armor. He donned the familiar helm; it felt right for this sort of battle, for his master did say Jedi would come. Taking off the Helm, he began assorting his Black armor to his body; it crackled with the force as purple flicks of lightning arced from his body to the armor, attaching it to him if all else failed. Finishing he rose and walked to the cockpit, his black robe wrapped around him.

Mantisa soon came from hyperspace. Immediately a text flew to Mantisa?s screen. Mantisa was all together late, most likely something went wrong and are now right? Still he could have a monitor on him, its what he would do. Mantisa knew who he was and is most likely wondering why he cant see his escort. Another message followed stating him to land. Mantisa not wanting to anger Dreadwar, again, by angering his servant proceeded to land.

    Tralus

Walking out Mantisa began to look like a lost pup. 10 meters over head the cloaked vessel, The Nox, hovered. Looking down from the loading ramp was Sieg, fully armored in his Magnificently, black Citadel Armor. Jumping down Sieg landed quietly behind Mantisa. He reached out his arm as the purple currents of Sieg?s power arced through Mantisa?s clothes. Standing shocked, Mantisa turned, unharmed, to look at Sieg in his now burnt clothes. A Monitoring device falls from him. Sieg picks it up and crumbles it into dust. ?Mantisa, get to work? NOW!? Frightened, Mantisa ran off to begin his preparations. Sieg walked close behind, his eyes a light green, his aura of the force around him lessened, making him appear to merely be a normal Republic civilian, as he faded into the shadows behind Mantisa.

Knowing his master will hear he thought The preparations have begun master. What is your will?

    "Lovely garden, is it not?"

Despite her best intentions, Sterling flinched and flailed, jerking up to sit. It took him a moment to pinpoint her voice, and he finally gave a relieved sigh. Rasa was obviously not out to get him, but he was still a little wary and flustered, his slightly nervous smile evidence enough of that.

"Are you waiting for someone as well?"

"Uh, hey - I guess you could say that," he said a little sheepishly. "I got sort of sidetracked. I think I'm supposed to be meeting with the Grandmaster, uh, sometime. ...If I'm late, I figure I might as well be a little more late, y'know? I've been cooped up in a ship too long."

His voice held a distinct twang - Tarisian, though he was careful to keep the lower-class lilt from invading his voice too much. It was another thing he was slightly nervous about. After all, it was surely embarrassing enough to show up to the Jedi in slightly ill-fitting clothes (though at least he had shaved), so he was trying his best to not look like an unrefined hick. Whatever status he gained by having his lightsabers hanging at his hips was, to him, still a little empty - after all, he had not constructed them from scratch on his own.

Gingerly, he stood, running a hand through his black hair before looking up at her more properly. "The name's Sterling Makedan - good to meet you. You're a... Cathar, aren't you, something like that?"

    Sub-GM Post

OOC: Alright, this post is tagging everyone, since those not in the immediate area will be seeing it over the HoloNet etc.

    Let the action begin... [face_devil]

IC: Darth Dreadwar, freighter en route to Coruscant

A helmeted face that held all of his plans... a device crumbling to dust that has compromised him... a touch of a chaotic mind... REVEALED!

Darth Dreadwar's eyes snapped open to the sound of the imminent hyperspace reversal alarms. They flashed a terrible red-white as uusal; if someone had been there to gaze into them, there would have been a corpse in the cockpit of the freighter that entered realspace in the Coruscant system.

Disorientation was, as usual, dispatched from his mind swiftly. He had seen flashes in his meditation... flashes... a shift in the Force. Anger filled him. His secrets were revealed, he knew. He could feel something different in the insects of light that crawled around the capital world his freighter, on automatic pilot, was approaching. It had to be the Fett brothers. They must have told the Jedi.

Dreadwar did not unleash his anger, and turn into a flame of rage. No, that was for Dark Jedi. A Sith controlled everything, including his anger, and twisted it into a weapon. Instead of a white hot burning, Dreadwar was cold. This glacial malice permeated the freighter as an annoying voice filled the cockpit, broadcasted from some tall spire on the planet most likely.

"Greetings, and welcome to Coruscant, the bright center of the universe!" the voice chirped. "Please state your name, purpose for visit and, if you have any, clearances for certain primary sectors on the planet."

"Adas," he hissed, using the name of an ancient Sith King who had established a long forgotten interstellar Sith Empire nearly 30,000 years ago. "I am here for personal reasons I would rather not divulge, and of course I don't have clearance for those certain primary sectors; it's not as if I'm a King is it?"

He didn't bother to pay much attention to the voice's response, although Dreadwar did note it was surprisingly polite enough to make the Sith Lord think it was automated.

Darth Dreadwar let the auto-pilot guide him down to a common public landing platform in an unpopulated area of the planet. He watched with dull disinterest as the clouds shot by and he was greeted with a view of the vast ecunemopolis.

When the engines powered down, Dreadwar lowered the boarding ramp. He glanced up at his reflection in the glass. As usual, he could barely make out the rest of his black form, overshadowed as they were by eyes straight from the ninth level of Corellian hell.

His plans had been revealed. Changing into common garb and wandering Coruscant until he found the lost medical bay of Lord Nyax was not an option anymore, he decided. Besides, the alternative, something he liked to call 'pulling an Exar Kun' was so much more... fun.

He would distract the Jedi from Corellia, rid himself of those bounty hunters and display his power. He would quite simply awe the entire planet and find the medical bay along the way as Darth Cadaverous had instructed. It was better this way, and a more tactically sound option considering the circumstances.

Dreadwar laughed. The first Sith the galaxy at large had ever seen in decades would soon make a very public entrance to Coruscant. Master Joy would no doubt be left paralyzed in inaction when the reports from the Republic Justice System began to file in... The HoloNet would be running its biggest story in years within hours.

That was when he felt the mental touch of Sieg "Darklighter." The preparations have begun master. What is your will?

The plans have changed, my servant, he sent. I have seen that the Jedi know of my plans, through two bounty hunters who captured and interrogated Mantisa. I am planning to do something... radical. Switch on the Holonet, kick back and enjoy the show... board Mantisa's flagship, plan assaults, and soon, once I am done here, I will create a fleet of Sith illusions lifitng

The plans have changed, my servant, he sent. I have seen that the Jedi know of my plans, through two bounty hunters who captured and interrogated Mantisa. I am planning to do something... radical. Switch on the Holonet, kick back and enjoy the show... board Mantisa's flagship, plan assaults, and soon, once I am done here, I will create a fleet of Sith illusions lifitng off from Tralus. You, on Mantisa's flagship, will lift off with them, and Mantisa will send a message to his syndicate's forces elsewhere. They will exit hyperspace by the time you, Mantisa and the illusionary fleet clear Tralus. Then the Battle for Corellia will begin.

The words echoed in Siegs mind and for a moment, just a brief jiffy of a second, the emotions in Sieg cracked; sending shattered pieces of his force power and affiliation across the system. It will be done my master

Sieg activated his Holonet on his wrist pad, as he followed Mantisa to the flagship. He waited for a bit, as his masters carnage reached him and he saw the events unfold. He scanned for a bit, finding each channel to have a different and to him and incorrect view of things. Beneath Sieg?s light green eyes something dark stirred, only a few could catch it and even then with great difficulty. Sieg turned off the Holonet as he turned his attention to Mantisa.

His master seemed busy for a bit, so Sieg followed orders. He followed the coward Mantisa and boarded his flagship, and after much deliberating; Sieg taught them the proper way to conduct the siege. The ships were not up to Siegs quota, as a result several engineers were force to flee, make up excuses, or correct their mistakes. Within the hour the ships were deemed by Sieg fit enough to fly.

Mantisa all the while acted cowardly, earning Sieg?s ire and distrust. If all went according to his masters plan then Sieg hoped his master could find within his dark heart to grant him the mission of blasting Mantisa out into space or if his master permitted, allow Sieg to experiment an assassination technique Sieg was longing to try. Siegs eyes glowed light green all the while during this most boring of plannings, but every so often Mantisa though he caught a glimpse of yellow in the green eyes. In the yellow he saw all the ways he could die. This ofcourse unnerved Mantisa, forcing him to work faster to get this over with.

Walking forward, Sieg had arrived out of the planning room and onto the bridge. He took a seat, after all in the room felt slightly unnerved, in the captain?s chair. The Nox had taken position to the right rear of the bridge. If anything bad happened, Sieg would merely break the windows in the bridge and escape unnoticed amid the chaos.

Before Sieg was an army just barely strong enough to attack and take this pathetic system. Sieg tapped his right ring and index finger on the seat. The 4 beats repeating over and over again, filling the room until all could have sworn throughout the ship that they were the sounds of great drums of war, increasing in sound with each stanza. Waiting for the illusions to appear, the Drums echoed until they filled the minds, of all aboard, with a sense of invincibility, teamwork, and perfection. A simple version of battle meditation, not as effective as the real thing but just as good, having the primal drums of war found in almost all races flow through the men and reawaken their primal sense of war!

    IC - Davian Thule

Thules mind was stunned, his heart broken. So much death in such a small amount of time. The view screen behind Master Joy fickered to life.

"... the amount of destruction here is unparalled. I...I dont know who can stop this mad man."the Holonet was broadcasting live. The Darksider levated in the air, out of the reach of the security forces who were then slaughtered by a thermal detonator.

"Master Joy! What do we do now." Thule said as he watched the darksider tear down a building. Fear took hold, Thule didn't think the entire council together could have done that. Then as quick as it came it passed, his fear driven from him by his courage. He knew what had to be done. After tapping on his wrist controls he began his ships warm up cycles. "Master Joy, I will take these bounty hunters and arrest this Sith." Then without waiting for a reply he and the bounty hunters left to combat the new attacker. Thule pickhisset of black Corotis armour from his ship, and removed his mechanical arm, replacing its standard equipment with that of a fighter, such as a hidden vibro-dagger, a mini - medkit, and a com unit.

After boarding his ship with the bounty hunters, they left. Thule knew thiswas his hour, win or lose he would be remembered. "ETa to Coruscant is two hours! Prep your self."

    Two hours later
Thule landed his ship at the site of the chaos. Signs of the recent battle were everywhere, from charred bodiesto carbon=ized skeletons, no one could be seenalive. Together he and the bounty hunters proceeded to look for the Sith who was responsible.

IC: MasterJoy -- Coruscant -- Jedi Academy -- Conference Room, Afternoon

The Jedi grand master could not speak, because of the horrible sights of terror, death, and destruction that were being displayed on the screen before their eyes. She did not stop Davian Thule when he led the bounty hunters out of the room and left the academy. This was an emergency. This was no time to be concerned with formalities when the planet was in turmoil, the Jedi order could be attacked, and the whole galaxy could be in danger. She must go to her padawans immediately.MasterJoy knew they had to feel something; sadness, fear, confusion; anything. MasterJoy, the leader of the Forces of Light Jedi Order truly felt it, and it greatly shook her out of her calm state of mind. She needed to pull herself together for her fellow Jedi. If there was ever a time when they would look to her for wisdom and guidance, it would be now, so she had to be strong. Taking a deep clinsing breath, the Jedi closed her eyes in meditation for five minutes, and her emotions were under control once again. Then, MasterJoy left the Conference Room, and rushed to the gardens.

When she arrived at the gardens, the Jedi leader saw Rasa in a tree, appearing to be having fun just being there. Jaron was there, and another young man. MasterJoy quietly approached Rasa's tree, and sat down beside Jaron, listening to the sounds of nature all around her, not wanting to break up such a peaceful party, but knowing she must, and soon.

    Jaron Kell
    Gardens, Jedi Temple, Coruscant

Jaron smiled at Rasa as he stood up to engage the Cathar in small talk. He had just started to talk a bit about Corellia when all of a sudden, he felt a cold tremor through the Force. It was as though a tremendous roar called out through the Force, deafening him - he had never felt anything remotely like it. For a moment, Jaron felt dizziness overcome him, and he staggered back on to the rock he had been sitting on previously. All of a sudden, his comlink began an urgent alert - the Coruscant emergency frequency.

Shaking his head to try and clear the aftereffects of the shock, Jaron took out the comlink and thumbed it on. It immediately linked to the Coruscanti News Network, and Jaron seemed to catch the latter half of the report.

"...catastrophic! The man is simply standing here, throwing aside everything Coruscant Police can throw at them. To repeat from earlier - he seems to be some sort of Force user. We're not sure how all this began at this time, but this is a true massacre now. I've...I've never seen anything like it before in my life. Now he's...oh my..." the newscaster, who had already been struggling to put into words what he was saying suddenly trailed off. In the background, a rumbling sound came through the comlink. All of a sudden, a great crash was heard, and to Jaron, through the Force it felt like being punched in the gut. He doubled over and struggled for breath. Eventually the newscaster resumed speaking, his voice subdued, "I have no words. Apparently, this man has brought down the Red Sector Bank building. I can't even begin to speculate at casualties."

Jaron tried to center himself in the Force, but found it incredibly difficult. He wanted to leap to action, but what could he, a mere Padawan, do against that kind of power? Then, to his absolute surprise, he saw Master Joy walk into the gardens - from the look on her face, she was troubled. She walked over and sat next to Jaron, in apparent contemplation.

Frowning, Jaron asked, "Master Joy? What should we do?"

    Rasa Ruu'ta-Li
Master Gardens, Jedi Academy - Mid-Morning

Rasa looked down as the stranger flinched and flailed, jerking up to sit. Oh my, she had not intended to startle him so. Still, she found his reaction most peculiar, considering he was sitting in a garden at the Jedi temple. It took him a moment to pinpoint her voice, and he finally gave a relieved sigh, looking slightly nervous.

"Arrre you waiting forrr someone as well?" she asked him.

Rasa smiled then, opening her eyes fully. "Then, the Forrrce leads you crrorrectly. She should be here shortly." she purred softly. This one was amusing. A slightly shift and she noticed that indeed, there was a lightsaber on his belt. He was Jedi? Now she began to really muse on that thought, as she watched him. Perhaps he was a bit tired?

Rasa watched as the stood, running a hand through his black hair before looking up at her. "The name's Sterling Makedan - good to meet you. You're a... Cathar, aren't you, something like that?"

Oh. An introduction. So the man's name was Makedan. She liked the name Sterling better. With a slight smile, she gave the man a nod, and then gracefully let her tail swing wide.

"Indeed, I am Ca'tharrr. I am known as I am..." Rasa paused a moment. She had a title now. She quickly adjusted and continued. "I am Padawan Rrasa Rruu'ta-Li" she purred gently. "And my commpanion is Padawan Kell." Rasa paused a moment, trying to phrase her next question correctly. "You arre new here?" she asked him.

As she waited for a response, she noticed her New Master heading into the gardens. Not wanting to be disrespectful, Rasa gave a grin, and with a graceful leap, left the branch, and landed gently on the ground on the other side of the branch, by the time the MasterJoy had joined them all.

    "You arre new here?"

The purring lilt of her voice made his head tilt a little, like a confused puppy, but a smile spread over his face that was slightly more genuine. The simple fact that she had not immediately started screeching that he was an intruder seemed to soothe him quite nicely. For a moment he moved to stick his hands in his pockets before realizing the simple slacks didn't have any, finally ending up hooking his thumbs into his belt, then nervously clasping his hands behind him, restless in nervousness.

"Yeah, I only got out planetside, uh, about an hour ago." Gingerly, he stepped back as she jumped down. There was, despite his nervousness, an obvious presence in the Force about him, though in a way that was distinctly clumsy - almost puppyish - as if he didn't quite know what he was doing. "The Grandmaster's going to be in the gardens here in a moment? - That's a relief. I tried figuring out a map of this place but I really don't have the head for it, besides, I don't want to be an inconvenience." Unfortunately, it seemed that once his tongue was loose, there was no stopping it. "Especially from the rumors I heard. I mean, my m--people I know didn't like her very much, I mean, he - they respected her and all, but, you know, if the rumors are part-way true, I don't want to really get on her bad side by interrupting her. Not saying she's a bad person, she just has a lot of power, you know? Especially since she didn't keep things from falling apart before, and -"

He abruptly stood up a little more straight, as if finally realizing something the Force had been bashing him over the head with for the past five minutes. His smile fell off his face into a crestfallen, thin-lipped frown.

"...She's right behind me, isn't she."

Bterrik, I must ask you to rewrite your post, leaving out the part about your comlink. MasterJoy hasn't given you one yet. That is why she is in the gardens; to explain the situation to all who are there.

Thank you for your attention. Let the game continue!

    Jaron Kell
    Gardens, Jedi Temple, Coruscant

Jaron smiled and nodded politely in greeting as Rasa introduced him to Sterling. He listened with amusement as the man gave his introduction, explaining how he only recently arrived on Coruscant. He apparently found Master Joy intimidating - and rightly so, given what Jaron had recently experienced himself in the corridors outside his new master's quarters. During his speech, Jaron saw Master Joy walk into the gardens but he didn't interrupt Sterling's story. Suddenly, just as Sterling finished his story, Jaron chuckled in amusement as the man started to frown.

"..She's right behind me, isn't she," Sterling said. It wasn't a question, but still Jaron gave a small nod of affirmation.

Turning to greet his master, Jaron could sense trouble in the Force - he felt cold, as if he was experiencing the Dark Side - but it wasn't as close or intimate as it had been the few previous times Jaron had felt the sensation. This feeling troubled him greatly - perhaps Master Joy would have an answer.

    Rasa Ruu'ta-Li
Master Gardens, Jedi Academy - Mid-Morning

Jaron smiled and nodded politely in greeting as Rasa introduced him to Sterling. Rasa held an amused grin, as Sterling continued to speak. "Yeah, I only got out planetside, uh, about an hour ago." She grinned slightly as he stepped back as she jumped down.

"The Grandmaster's going to be in the gardens here in a moment? - That's a relief. I tried figuring out a map of this place but I really don't have the head for it, besides, I don't want to be an inconvenience." Rasa simply nodded as Sterlings continued,

By now, Rasa was grinning like mad. This Sterling was going to be quite an interesting once. Rasa could quickly see that if nothing else, her training would not be boring.

Sterling abruptly stood up a little more straight, as his smile fell off his face into a crestfallen, thin-lipped frown.

"...She's right behind me, isn't she."

Rasa's ears perked straight up, as she tried to hold her amusement. She thought about what the young man had stated. So far, from what she had seen, she could see why some people might feel that way. MasterJoy had quite an ... unusual way of handling certain things. But Rasa guessed that is why she was so good at her job. She was hard to predict. Rasa chuckled softly.

Rasa turned, after Jaron had done so, as she was still smiling. But for a fleetng moment, something felt different. It made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up for a quick moment, and then, just as quickly it whispered away, like a fleeting thought or breeze. Rasa's ears moved back. 'What was THAT?', Rasa thought to herself, as she titled her head, as if trying to listen to something. But whatever it was the Force was trying to whisper, was not clear enough for her to hear. Letting her tail wave slowly behind her, she looked back over towards her new Master. If there was anything serious, Rasa was sure that the Jedi Master would tell her. So she looked over expectantly, waiting to see what it was MasterJoy wished to tell them.

OOC: Just a smaller one responding to Littledawg and Draco_Drake before Joy introduces the situation to her Padawans.

IC: Darth Dreadwar, market place, Red 102 Sector, Coruscant

Darth Dreadwar laughed as he stood awash in the screams of his own power. He felt the agony and panic rising around him, a thick cloud of death that did not choke, but rather empowered. He channeled it, used it, twisted it, and his eyes glared brighter... and somehow, also, darker.

He knew the echoes in the Force were reaching the Jedi Temple now. He felt the waves of darkness crash against the force of light that was Master Joy's new academy, and he felt insects crawl around, and then move... Fast.

Excellent, the Dark Warrior thought. They are coming already. Judging by the linked twin spots of gray escorted by a single pinprick of bright light, the Fetts were on their way.

Within two minutes, a small spaceship had landed 30 meters away from the site, a brief rush of air causing the Sith Lord's black cloak to rise up like two wings of shadow around his dark form. The bounty hunter brothers, in their usual attire of Mandalorian armor, walked down the landing ramp, accompanied by a young man, around 25 in Dreadwar's estimation, in the simply, homespun, brown robes of a Jedi Knight.

To the Sith King's surprise, he recognized Davian Thule. Several years ago, a cell of the Core of Power had been sent to introduce the teachings of the Sith to Dantooine. Thanks to Thule's actions, that plan had been foiled, and one of Dreadwar's Guards of the Citadel, who had been acting as leader of the dark cult, was killed. Dreadwar had been more annoyed at the failure of the operation than furious, however he would derive extra pleasure from killing this particular Jedi, along with the Fetts.

Dreadwar let loose the shields that kept his presence hidden and obscured.

Instantly, Thule and the Fetts felt...

    Cold.

"Fine morning, is it not?" Dreadwar hissed. "I was almost thinking you weren't coming to the party, Cassius, Marcellus... and I see you brought a friend along, too!"

    Cold.

Dreadwar hid his presence - and his power - once more, only offering an unnerving glimpse to his foes.

"Davian Thule, I do believe you were the one who destroyed a cult I set up a few years ago on Dantooine. And you, Cassius and Marcellus, have dug too deep into things that ought not to be known. Quite simply, I have no intention of allowing any of you to live beyond this day, so I must end the pleasantries."

Darth Dreadwar smiled behind his mask; he always loved the feeling of control it gave him, seeing enemies shy at his mere glance; indeed, looking into Dreadwar's glowing eyes resulted in nausea, blindness and quite swiftly, death.

"However, as the dark side has granted me knowledge and power beyond any of yours, I will let you make the first move."

"Cassius, Marcellus, Davian," Dreadwar inclined his head. "Begin."

    IC - Davian Thule

"Stay back, and cover me. If anything happens, go back to the Jedi, and tell them about what happened here, but other than that, dont let anyone else through, Alliance or not." Thule walked away before the bounty hunters could respond. Thule felt a chilled sense crrep through him. Following the voice of the Sith Lord he found his form, a man, robed in all black, surrounded by death, and destruction.

Thule's lightsaber hummed in the uncharacteristic silence of Coruscant. He knew that somewhere, the Holonet was recording this, he knew that trillions were watching, holding their breaths, praying that their Jedi protectors could save them. The truth was that Thule was afraid. He approached the Sith and with all his courage he said, "By the power invested in me by the Gallactic Alliance and the Jedi Order, Im placing you under arrest!" Thule stepped into his Form 5 stance and preppared for the Sith Lords attack, be it Force or by the sword, he was ready, all his training prepared him for this, the confrontation of a life time, He would not fail. Quickly he grasped a fallen speeder from the ground and threw it at the Sith, "CATCH!" Thule screamed, he charged following the Speeder.

Darth Dreadwar smirked behind his mask as he casually raised an arm and let his excess anger, channeled through the Sith amulet, do its work, forming an incinerating beam of dark red light that shot forth from the ancient glove-like talisman, striking the speeder. There was a bright, blinding flash, and a second later, pieces of smoldering wreckage were forming a spinning circle around Dreadwar, a barrier of deadly debris held aloft by the Sith magician's telekinetic power, to halt Thule's reckless charge.

The Sith Lord laughed humorlessly. "Davian Thule, or should I say Davian Fool," Dreadwar mocked. "How fortunate that your pitiful application of the Force's power is being displayed for the entire galaxy to see. How unfortunate, for you, that you'll have to construct a new lightsaber."

With that, the Dark Warrior rose a gauntleted hand at the oncoming Jedi Knight, employing the energies of the dark side to begin draining all the energy from Davian's lightsaber. A technique forgotten by the Jedi, it had been used by the ancient Sith Lords long ago. As Dreadwar sucked the energy out of the laser weapon, he converted it into his own raw power, forming a sphere of faint blue light in his left hand.

    All too easy.

Thule halted mid stride, his lightsaber sputtered and went out. "Oh no." Thule lept back and glanced around.

"Hey Jedi! Catch!" a voice shouted from behind him.

Thule whipped around in time to see one of the bounty hunter throw a metallic object towards him, he realized what it was, instantly. Thule caught the object with the Force and looked at his old Masters lightsaber. Thule knew not to charge straight in again, or he would risk this saber too. He glanced around he looked for anything that might give him an advantage. That was when he noticed that one of the buildings near the sith had been severly damaged by the thermal detonator, that the Sith had previously used to dispatch the guards. "He brought down a building, lets see him keep one up," Thule thought to himself. Thule focused on the weakend supports, causing the building to buckle, then slowly but with increasing speed Thule brought the building down, coming down towards the Sith. Thule sent another speeder the Sith's way, Thule could only watch now, he couldn't charge in he might kill himself, no he could only watch, watch and wait.

IC: Darth Dreadwar The already fragile building proved to be easy for Thule to collapse. The building fell with groans of protesting durasteel, rock crumbling everywhere, on to the Sith Lord. The Sith was covered, the rubble obscuring him from Thule's view, but also providing a barrier for the second speeder Thule telekinetically threw, until finally the ruin of the building slid away... to reveal Darth Dreadwar standing exactly where he was, unharmed, a sheen of dust coating his armor but nothing more.

Darth Dreadwar had used the Force to turn the rubble in his immediate vicinity into fine dust; while the massive chunks of metal and rock landed around him, only dust had fell on him.

The fool just wasted his Force power.

It was time for Darth Dreadwar to unleash his own power. His left hand rose, the energy drained from Thule's lightsaber empowering a blast of dark side lightning that exploded from his hand towards Thule. The amulet on his right released an incinerating beam of red energy at Cassius. Darth Dreadwar glared with his Deadly Sight at Marcellus.

Time for all of you to die.

    IC - Davian Thule

Thule watched in horror as his opponent emergered from the rubble unharmed. He also watched as the Sith launched a three pronged attack one piece for each of them, he twisted quickly using the Force to push both Fetts away from their respected attacks, Marcellus got pushed behind a wall of rubble and Cassius was pushed just in time to avoid the blast, Thule unable to move however, instead he did the only thing he could, he held out his hands and caught it, the wave of pure energy overwhelming his defenses, but still the Jedi held on, he grappled with the Sith's attacked holding the lightning in his grasp, "Cant hold a Kryat Dragon by the tail forever!" Thule shouted as he watched Cassius raise up and fire a burst of blaster shots at the Sith Lord. Thule slowly started pushing closer to his foe, sweat pouring off him, while he fought for purchase on the ground to keep from flying backwards. Cassius continued his barrage of blaster shots only to have his brother join in, the Dark Lord's gave surely drawn elsewhere by the pressing attack. The two brothers blaster shots combined would take all of Thules concentration to deflect, he only wondered what the Sith had planned next.

OOC: The tag to prj1 and all her Padawans remains by the way... react to the situation however you want after Joy explains it of course. :)

    IC: Darth Dreadwar

Darth Dreadwar watched, amazed, as a mere Jedi Knight blocked the blue forks of lightning that poured from Dreadwar's outstretched hand. Thule's strength of will must have been beyond incredible.

The Sith Lord dropped his hand, the lightning vanishing back into the Force, as Cassius and Marcellus opened fire, letting loose a barrage of blaster bolts.

Fools, Dreadwar thought. One can never overwhelm a true wielder of the Force's energies with blasters. The bolts bent, the Force altering the trajectory of the energy, and Dreadwar watched with amusement as the blaster bolts thudded harmlessly around him.

Dreadwar's left hand rose again, like a claw, as he pressed his power ruthlessly upon Thule's windpipe, reaching with his invisible hand through the skin and the muscle to grasp inside with expert precision. His other hand rose towards the Fett brothers' weapons, pressing the dark power upon them and watching as their blasters crumbled into small pieces in their hands.

As Dreadwar saw Thule struggle against the attempted choke hold, he sensed a thousand other presences closing in; another wave of police forces... or, rather, Dreadwar observed as armored men ran into the market place, trampling through the rubble of the Red Sector Bank, military forces.

Dreadwar began to strain to keep his power attempting to choke Thule's life out as he used the ancient ways of the Sith to create illusions in the eyes of the military just now raising their weapons. This time, he created an illusion over Thule, an illusion of himself in the same dark side armor, cloak and kilt that had been saw across the Holonet, then creating an illusion of Thule over himself.

To finish the deal, Dreadar then created illusions of red lightsabers in the Fett brothers' hands, and watched with satisfaction as hundreds of Alliance soldiers opened fire on the Fetts and the struggling Thule.

Dreadwar lost sight of his three foes as the Alliance forces surrounded them and threw grenades, opened fire with powerful flak cannons and shot poison darts. All he heard was screams and felt pain and death spreading into the Force.

They're dead, Dreadwar thought to himself. There's no way a single Jedi and two Mandalorians could survive an entire army. Wrapping himself in a cloak of bent light waves, rendering him invisible, and covering his presence with mental shields, the Dark Warrior walked away, his clenched fist destroying the remaining hovering HoloCam droids, leaving an entire sector in ruins and thousands dead, confident his problem was solved. Along the way, he reached out with his mind, grasping who he sensed to be the Commander of the Alliance troops; he would have the information Dreadwar desired. Few noticed as the Commander was dragged by an invisible hand out of the marketplace, to the feet of a now invisible man.

Dreadwar whispered in the man's ear, pressing the persuasive power of the Force upon his mind. "Where is the lost medical bay of Lord Nyax?"

The Commander was strong-willed and resisted the suggestion, so Dreadwar tore into his mind and ripped the information out for himself, leaving the ordinarily strong and proud officer to sob, clutching his skull, and his shattered psyche.

Apparently the Alliance had converted the medical bay into a secret military facility. Darth Dreadwar stalked away after snapping the Commander's neck with the Force, activating his personal wrist communicator, tied in with "Darklighter" Sieg's commlink.

"Darklighter, the Fetts and a Jedi who accompanied them are dead. The entire planet is in a panic, and the Jedi are distracted. This problem is solved. The time to attack Corellia is coming now; broadcast a message to Mantisa's crime syndicate's fleet out-of-system, and instruct them to make the jump into the outer edges of the Co

Thule fell to the ground gasping for air, as he got up one of the soilders ran at him, swinging his rifle butt straight at his face. Thule blasted the solider back with the Force. "Shame on you!" Thule said, but that was when he realized that the rest of the army had him in their sites. "What the?" Thule saw both the Fett brothers rocket away, only to be fired upon by flak tanks and missiles, Thule didn't watch or know if they lived, he was busy cutting around himself in a circle with his lightsaber, just as the air above him exploded with grenades and blaster bolts, Thule fell through the floor into the sewers below. Whatever had happened he didn't have time to figure out, either it was a Sith trick or the Alliance was extremely dissapointed in his, in his opinion, victory, Thule was dissapointed that he let the Sith escape, but he was alive, so to Thule, it was a moral victory. Thule heard the sound of feet approaching the hole he had made, Thule didn't realize it but he had cut through ten feet of stone and three one inch thick sheets of durasteel in seconds, he glanced at his masters old saber, it must have been different, his old saber, that would have taken a minute at least. Then shadows began to appear around the edge of the hole, and ropes began to decend. Thule decided he didn't want to fight his own, no matter why they were attacking him, so he left, using the Force to increase his speed he sped along the sewers in a random series of turns, and inclines and declines until finally he was about a mile and a half away, he felt safe to exit the sewers, when he did, their was no one around, so he signaled his ship and waited for its arrival. After about 30 minutes his ship landed and he left, he felt bad about leaving the bounty hunters, but he didn't know if they were alive or not, and their was no way to find them in the Force, their armour was responsible for that, and their comlinks were encrypted so, basically he couldn't do a thing to find them, so he went back to the Temple as fast as he could.
