How do you address a female Jedi Master: as "master" or "mistress"?

Most of us use 'master' as the name of the rank itself, and as in 'mastering their training' ('mistressing their training' makes no sense). The Jedi Apprentice series does the same - for example: Adi Gallia is referred to as a Jedi Master, and not mistress. I've seen a few fanfic writers use 'madame' when a character was addressing the female Jedi Master, but by far the majority just use 'master'.

    to quote Heinlein:

"Don't call me 'mistress' unless you really mean it."

(said by a female character to a male character in who's society it was customary to adress women as 'mistress' and men as 'mister'.)

I think Luca$ would shy away from 'mistress' and all it's connotations and it's "other" meaning and keep it a generic "master".
