    [face_laugh] *cough*

Uh yes well I love the foreshadowing in TPM. The very first post in this thread, mentioning Obi-Wan saying- "we could be stuck here for a very long time"- wow! I had never thought of that one before. That's terribly ironic.

I can't think of any more right now, blast it. I need to watch it again.

My favorite instance of foreshadowing used in TPM is when Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon are assembling w/ the Gungans on Naboo discussing Padme's plan to infiltrate the Palace and capture Nute Gunray. Obi-Wan states that if the Queen's plan fails, the Viceroy could escape and return with an even bigger Droid Army. Gunray does indeed return one day with a bigger Droid Army, starting off the Clone War at the end of AOTC.

When Obi-Wan cuts Darth Maul in half, it's the same kind of motion Vader eventually uses to kill Obi-Wan.

"Will I ever see you again?"

"What does your heart tell you?"

One piece of foreshadowing that only comes into focus after Episode II are the battle droids, who bear a great resemblance to their creators, the Geonosians.
