V.C, CA Forum Banner Concept

Okay, tonight I was feeling the need to do something creative so I decided to give the forum banner a shot. I decided not to try to put pics of us or anything like that since some people (myself included) would probably rather not have their pic on the banner and with so few members it wouldn't really work putting just a couple people on the banner. Anyway, I just tried to keep it consistant with the website (which I'll update tomorrow if anyone wants news posted). So here's an example of what I came up with. I hope you guys like it because who knows when the next time I have a chance to play with this will be...

EDIT: This is just a screen capture of the banner on the site itself. I thought this gave a better vision of the overall look, although the banner itself looks much nicer when it's the correct size.

We should alternate occasionally though with Michael's, just to scare off random people.

It wouldn't fit, originally I was going to use it for the left side part but it was just too wide to get the right effect. You couldn't tell what it was.

Well, there's no boys either. I guess the brown tint gives it the "mailish" feel. I just really liked that picture, in reality though, brown is my least favorite color, worked for that pic though.

I think it would be the funniest thing EVER if in the middle of that artsy battle scene you just plastered Natalie Portman in.

 

My grammar is alright, it's my spelling that sucks.

It's the Millenium Falcon flying away from the ruined Coruscant.

 

I'd rather not make those white lines connect, it's an intentional part of the design, not an accident. I did it like that on the website and that's why I did it on there too. I'm all about continuity. If everyone wants it changed I'll do it though.
