You took a seppo, don't take that tone with me!
You’re bitter I didn’t take you???
You’re supposed to be on paternity leave! Go, enjoy! So we can!
I volunteer, if you need volunteers...
I was team Captain for "The Joneses" representing the Lucasfilm forum back in 2008. I would love to participate again. If we can get a team together to represent the Lucasfilm forum it would be fun to bring back "The Joneses." If the LFL doesn't put together a team I'm up to join any team that will have me.
Just want to make sure that everyone knows if you want to play, you have to signup in your forum (or one of your forums).
I move that all contestants be given temporary VIP status to allow for an even playing field when responding.
I'm happy to see JCC dominating this thread with nonsense, as is our wont.
Not sure how VIP status will level the playing field.
VIPs and above aren't subject to the 30 second wait between posts that regular users have.
Hell yes! I was a RICHARDSON.
Maybe? But I was a RICHARDSON damnit.
No you weren't.
You know, you are correct. I was on the Bespin Tea Party team, as were you @harpua
No I wasn't.
Forgive me, it was a user named Harpuah. My mistake.
Here’s a link to the roster for that game.
I do recall it was a lively and fun game.
No, that's me... I dropped the h at the end. I didn't play in Forum Feud, though.
Gotcha, I changed my user name since then too.
I just wanted to let everyone know, as an addition to this fascinating conversation, that I have never changed my username.
You used to announce, proudly, that you loved Kevin Spacey at the end of every single one of your posts, though.
There's no timed element so posting faster doesn't help you in any way. The only time posting faster could help would be in the first question of a game and only if there's a tie in the answer. Then it's based on who answered faster from the time they opened the PM.
Otherwise, everyone has up to 24 hours to respond and only one person is responding at a time.
I've conferred with my fellow PT mods @heels1785 and @cubman987, and we agree to formally request allowing a third team for the PT section
All things considered, there's a LOT of activity there and a ton of dedicated regular users, especially compared to other forum sections for SW films. There's much more than just film discussion going on there, with the social thread currently in its sixth iteration, a weekly user interview thread, an ongoing trivia game, and a book club going on. We've managed to fill up both teams and get an alt for both of them in barely two days with still more users expressing an interest in representing PT if possible
So, this being a choice in the hands of the show runners here - what say you?
hell no, down with the pt forum!
just kidding, that seems fine.
Maybe PT and CT should band together to create the 'Original Saga' team and go up against the New Films (of all iterations). That would be an event in itself.
(Actually, don't do that, but I can imagine how crazy that might get).
that actually sounds incredibly AWESOME!
