So should we submit our team name/colors/captain/Slogan here? Tomorrow I assume?

 

I'm still not sure I understand about the colors--are we choosing just one color, or a two-color combination?

And will team players have each of their usernames changed to those colors for the duration of the tournament, or will the "team colors" be used in some other way?

 

It's two colors. One a highlight that I can't demonstrate because, per Mavjade, the highlight function is broken, and one a text color like so.

 

If any team still needs a player I'm available.

Announcement: We're still waiting to finalize one more team that's going to be a combination team. This won't effect game play starting, but I won't be posting the full team list until that is finalized.

There will be 20 teams, so 10 first round games. We'll be staggering the start with only a few games starting each day, and some of those first round games won't start until others have already finished.

Board time is PST (or at least it used to be when there was a board time), so that's what I'm using. I'm at work and I'll potentially be able to start the first games around 1:30 or 2am PST (4:30 or 5am my time in EST). Unless things blow up and then it will be later.
In general, it just depends on when the host of a particular game is awake/has time to post.

 

We have the full teams, 20 in total. The team lists and bracket on the first page have been updated with the info that has thus been given.

Teams who don't yet have colors/slogan/a captain, please get those in as soon as possible!

 

I think @yankee8255 said he would be our alternate. is that right yankee?

What happens if you give an answer that too similar to one that's already given?

Like if the answer is purple and you say lavender?

Is that a strike? Or do you get to give another answer?

 

You can see all the answers that have been given, so it shouldn't really happen. In general, if the answer is very similar, they group them together into one answer. But if it were to happen, you'd get another chance, unless it's being used as a stall tactic (as determined by the group of hosts), then it becomes a strike.

 

I only just now realized most of these questions often have little to do with Star Wars.

Reminds me of the time I hired a professor from Columbia University who was in fact a teacher of English as a second language to a drug cartel in Columbia. I really need to read details.

So, maybe I missed this, too. Where do these survey questions actually come from? People here? Some website associated with the actual game show? Just curious where these surveys occur. America exclusively?
