Is there any sites where you can register a forum for free? I searched on Google but can't find anything.

This is for a fan site I'm making.

There's also invision free, that is a very good one.

I'm not sure about the link, but I think it is: http:///www.invisionfree.com

Invision Board is probably one of the top forum software (if that's what you are wanting). I personaly use it on my forum and I love it.

    Official Invision Board Site

yeah, i'm using the Invisionfree stuff right now, but everytime I log in there's error messages everywhere. I can't get into any of the control pannels or even the posts. Only way I can get around somewhat is as a guest. anybody got a clue about this?

ok, now i'm majorly confused. I initially had a forum hosted at ezboard but there was a thing that kept saying it expired in so many days. now that it's expired, it still runs. did i miss something here?

yeah, i have invisionfree now. we moved cause we thought the forum was expiring. and there are things i like about invisionfree way better than ezboard, and viceversa (sp?) but I was just really confused. I couldn't figure out custom emotioncons at ezboard ever, but thanks for the reply. makes some sense now, though it really wasn't clear what the heck was going on at first.

so is ezboard a free server then? (limited as it is?)

    http://proboards.com

This site is great. It's almost the same as http://ezboard.com

except it's free. Here's the link to my new forum from there

I have always used EZ boards for my various purposes, but bbboards is awesome, and that proboards thing looked pretty good too.

i actually like ezboard better than invisionfree, cept i'm not about to pay for anything at the moment :p and ezboard has those stupid ads that are enormous and teh popups.

I really like their set up tho, cept no custom smilies *pout* only problem with invisionfree is that at least once a night i get a "database error" and it takes forever to get back on my forum. But they're fun to play with and customize and stuff. Anyway, lol, i'm just rambling :p

Heres a really good one. Its free, quick loading, and very easy to set up.

Its still relatively new to forum world. But definately a great site. They offer image hosting for all users.Which is perfect for avatars and sigs.No more bandwidth problems and little red x's ;)

    excoboard.com

just thought I'd mention it in case anyone was looking for a board for their site.

    Use Proboards!!

I have had arguments with Aimoo in the past, I don't really get along with them well, their boards never work for me.
