Do you think someone was having a joke at NZ's expense when they decided that the twenty suxth of ducumber should be the release date?

If it came down to it, I don't think my desire to see FOTR earlier would override my desire to not be a Kiwi...

    bah

you are all, without doubt jealous of our fine reputation.............not for us the hollywood-mexico transplant that is Fox Studios!

the last Australian film that actually pushed boundaries was bad boy bubby, and they were pretty scary limits, if truth be told............you need ot get back to these roots, and work on your strengths, like maybe a flying doctors movie or something?

Well, they have successfully managed to create the most brilliant piece of genuius recorded on celluose of all time ... so I wouldn't rag on them too much.

FOTR was sheer, utter, complete, stunning brilliance. Absolutely mind-bogglingly astounding, right down to the last frame.

And no, I don't say this merely because I worked on it. Seeing my name in the credits was good, yes. But the film in itself made me weep with pride ... it's truly a turning point not only for the Fantasy genre, but for the entire film industry itself.

I went with the 'smoking' option, only because I am baffled by the connection between FOTR and Meet the Feebles.

    You didn't make the connection?

You mean, you didn't realise that Arwen was making low budget porn films in the dungeons?

    I thought everyone knew?

I give up on the idea of possibly having a SERIOUS thread about something I spent a year and a half of my damn life on.

Here ends my contribution to anything about FOTR on this board.

    Sorry, Geck.

    I'm just jealous.

You worked on it AND you saw it already?

    :(

Besides, I think this lost credibility as a serious thread a while back. I for one was disappointed that Pigalek's thread was shut down in favour of this NZ bash thread...

    But that's just me.

well this is just a simple poll, whether you choose to contribute to it is another thing......i didn't really see it as a discussion thread, more just as a poll, as there is another thread about that in the NZ forum......
