Mass Foxboro T-Shirts and Website ideas and input.

Well I think we should really get going on a few things.

Chapter T-Shirts
Chapter Web Site (temporary Yahoo site right now)

If anyone has anything to help out it would be greatly appreciated.

I know some of you might have some great ideas for a chapter shirt.

Hopefully the shirts will be approved by Lucasfilm so we could be able to exchange them with other chapters or sell them to people who would want to purchase them. We would not be looking to profit from these but charge exactly what they would cost to produce.

We would like to have the shirts ready by or around our third meet which would make us official and be ready to wear to Celebration III.

I really like the logo on the Yahoo! page. Silver and Black meets the Empire, SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!

Looks great to me. I'd have to order a couple of those shirts and maybe a onsie!

 

That might be what we go with possibly.

But I was hoping to get some ideas or some images from a few on some new ideas too.

Let's get some in soon. I hope in the next month we can have a group choice of a shirt to have produced.

 

I'll spend some time this weekend coming up with something. Not much of a design guy, but you never know!

The logo is pretty cool though. Maybe throw in some kind of saying with it on the back.

You could go with what works like:

I really like the gangsta style logo. The next choice for me is the top left. Vader is very popular and I think the Trooper is way cool. I feel bad ass looking at those. Those are some REAL logos right there! Great work!

 

Well I was finally able to get all the 2nd Meet pictures I had on the yahoo site and I have out up all of Mike's and Aaron's artwork too.

Well we are almost official and the need to do a website is going to be upon us.

I was wondering who might be interested in taking part of doing work with a website for our chapter.

I have spoken with Tony and he is willing to do help us get started but he will be very busy and will not have enough time to keep maintaining it.

It can be a shared responsibility I could and would be willing to work with someone to do this.

If you are interested please post here and you can PM me also.

And we will be choosing board colors and having our own custom banner atop of the forum we need to work and decide on also. And Aaron I know has talked about a chapter icon also. Some things to start chewing on.

that is just two things that come to mind. there is more we just have to tackle a few things at a time.

The one with the Stormtrooper in it is very good.

 

I'd be willing to help out as much as I'm able. Unfortunately between work and the coming arrival of my newest Padawan my free time is stretched pretty thin.

The web colors will be a toughie. We may want to stay away from the red/black combo. I know the Boston Rebels page received some negative feedback regarding the color choices to the point where we changed them completely. Maybe a navy blue/light to medium gray combo? We could even incorporate a red or a green as an accent color.

As for the t-shirts. I know it's far cheaper to print on a white shirt than any other color, but if we can come up with a logo that's 2 colors with no designated white area, maybe we could print them on a grey shirt with a black "ringer" collar? Like I said, I know it will cost us more than a white shirt, but I think they would definitely stand apart from other chapters shirts.

Just a few ideas I though I'd toss out amongst you all.

 

If someone can show me how to make and display banners on the site, I would be very excited to do so.

I thought the scene from AotC when all of the clones are boarding the ships on Coruscant would be a cool idea. Its bright and not purple. Maybe since we live up in the Northeast we could do seasonal shots, the green, foliage and snow capped hills. Add on some ships and what not.

That's an excellent idea.

 

Along with the seasonal shots (which is a good idea) should we add pictures of maybe logos of local sports teams or celebrities from the Massachussetts area?

 

AT the next meet we should discuss and decide on some of the things we want to do with the forum. (colors and a banner specifically)

And Aaron has PMed me about doing up business style cards for the chapter

Aaron when you get a design post it up I am sure everyone would like to see what they look like.

It has been so crazy the last month and a half between the toys,collectibles, and Celebration III.

I hope to get back on a normal working schedule soon also.
