Victoria. BC Freaking the Mundanes... (Victory Base Goes Medieval!) **Summer months calendar posted!**

The Society for Creative Anachronism is a group that purports to recreate certain aspects of medieval life and times. SInce a number of us in the Base play there too, I thought it past time to post a thread here keeping various members up to date on local and other SCA events, where we could state what we're going to and when, et cetera, maybe lay plans, that sort of thing.

We also don't mind the occasional out-of-chapter poster giving a genteel gesture and a "Good Morrow!" as they pass through the forums, especially if we're likely to make acquaintances at one of these events!

Heck, we could even use it to practice our forsooth speech, or discuss clothing/persona/feast contributions/steps to Montarde Pavane/construction of lances... whatever projects we have on the go.

*waves shyly* just putting my little nose in here to say anything you want to drag me to would be much appreciated on my part, I am interested even if I often have worktime conflicts.

 

Sionnach, it'd be great to take you to another event, or hook you up with someone who is going. That Yule was fun!

So here's the schedule for the next couple of months. Dates are colour-coded: blue denotes local event (small, and close), green Principality level events (somewhat bigger but still close) and purple denotes a Kingdom event (way big, likely not close).
