As most of you know (or don't) I'm a HUGE horror fan. Well imagine my utter delight when New Line Cinema announced they were doing Freddy Vs. Jason. I mean this is a match up I have been waiting to see since I was 10! So since we're little over 5 days away from the movie. I wanna know who is everyone rooting for? Or do you even care? Or would you rather see either of them fight another movie monster. My money is on Freddy. Sure Jason has more kills , but c'mon its Freddy. Jason right now has 3-2 odds of winning according to Vegas. Baily's Casino had both of them weigh in, like boxers a couple weeks back.
Freddy all the way. Anybody that can kill to the beat of Inna-Gadda-Da-Vida and utter such cool catchphrases like "Welcome to Prime Time, b!tch!" deserves the respect.
I have to say Jason since Freddy needs him to get out of h*ll. I mean if Freddy can't do it with out him then he deserves to get beat on by Jason.
My money's on Freddy! He's devious AND a murderer. Jason's more of the mindless killing machine type, isn't he?
Hopefully it'll be a tie and they kill each other off once and for all so we don't ever have to hear about them again.... Long live Pinhead!!!
Here's something from Dark Horizons: Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash?: Creature Corner reports that New Line is already hard at work on developing potential sequel ideas to their current team-up project and there's already a theory - "Reliable sources have revealed that one of the current ideas being tossed around includes a scenario where Freddy and Jason would team-up against a common enemy: Bruce Campbell as Ash from the "Evil Dead" films. As crazy as it might sound, this concept has apparently been met with a great deal of enthusiasm in the upper-echelons of New Line Cinema. While it's impossible to predict what sort of "unknowns" might prevent this concept from seeing the light of day (like, say, the rights holders of the "Evil Dead" series or Campbell himself saying no) it's interesting to know that New Line is at least considering what could turn out to be many a fanboy's dream team-up "plus one" for the not-to-distant future". I give this about 1,000,000:1 odds of actually happening, but it's a nice thought to dream about.
Yeah, but have you all heard the latest... New Line is so impressed with this team up concept, that they are proposing another with F&J... Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash!!! Wouldn't that be a doozy? -Gary
