Memph, TN Free Comic Book Day / Wolverine Movie - Saturday, May 2, 2009 -- Showtime added

Hi, gang! Free Comic Book Day is rapidly approaching on Saturday, May 2. Lin, Kevin and Antone will be doing a signing at Comic Cellar on Austin Peay Hwy as part of the FCBD festivities.

More details will be forthcoming soon, but make plans to come out and join the guys at Comic Cellar. After the signing, we will be heading to the Paradiso to see Hugh Jackman in all his gorgeous glory on the big screen in X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

ETA: The signing is from 12pm - 2pm. Malco always waits until the last minute to publish showtimes, but I would anticipate going to the movies after 3pm to give everyone time to pack up and get to the theater. I also recommend that everyone pre-purchase their movie tickets once we decide on the exact showtime.

 

What a great idea Nicki! Thanks for letting us know well in advance so we can plan. We should be able to go.

I've had a few folks ask what time we're going to see the movie and it really depends on what times are showing after the Comic Cellar signing. Anybody know when they release times for shows?

 

Unfortunately, Malco won't release showtimes until next Wednesday.
