Here are some pics from Rainbow Sports Cards in Sioux Falls: troopers another pic of troopers Boba Fun day - lots of people there!
very cool. I was out in Portage, IN. at FCBD day again this year. I have posted about this before, and I think there is some store in South Bend that sells comics that participates as well. However, no trooping that I know of. SBFF could still find one of these places to use as a home base sort of, as most SW clubs generally use something like this, or a book store for meeting up with others for the first time to help their clubs grow. will try to post a photo or two of my very small event. How ever, I did not bring a camera with me, so I must depend on others for photos, I should have at least one group photo of us as one of the other costumers had a camera and help to take the photos.
I enjoyed FCBD at buymetoys.com in mishawaka. there were a lot of people crammed into that small store like there is every year. we did find out that Wolverine will be at the Hall of Heroes in Elkhart on May 9th. My family will be out of town, but others may want to check it out. Even if the guy in costume is lame, the museum is still cool. There will also be some artist there soon, but i need to find my flier with the date/name on it.
In Detroit, the meetings were at one of the area Malls, or generally at a Borders or Barnes and Noble. Easy central place, and you didn't feel uncomfortable meeting strange people for the first time =) I got to miss the crowds at BuyMeToys.com. I think I'll always go half hour before close from here on out.
