Spok, WA Free Comic Day invite

As a dually designated member of the 501st, I am offering a day of peace where our two groups can get together and celebrate that which is known as Free Comic Book Day.

Seriously though, I know it's been a long while since I've talked to most of you but, the 501st is growing and we'd like to see you there. We now have a clone trooper, Darth Vader and a tusken raider to add to our collection.
We'll be at Merlyns from 2 - 5 on May 3rd for free comics, pictures and taking donations for Troops For Troops, a new organization set up by me to send troops overseas luxury items such as playing cards and games.

I work until 5:30pm that day. And I had to haggle to arrange that.

Merlyn's is out for me. But I can still make the meeting... if a bit late.

What's the verdict?
Please don't tell me that I totally screwed up my schedule for nothing.

We'll be there from about 1 - 5 (depending on how long Vader can stay suited up.
All the Tv stations have been told and I'm actually doing an interview on KJRB this week about it.
Should be fun and a great photo op for some cool gallery pics.

Sith, now there's a much better four letter word!

I plan to be at Merlyns as close to 1 as I can, After the event, I will head back home and all are welcome to come with. Let's start gathering for the meeting at 6-6:30 ish, thus allowing plenty of time to get home and out of costume etc. Calling my cel is as always a guaranteed way to get updated info (562)- 756- 3234

I receieved a PM about Sabacc being run at SpoCon. Could somebody bring poker chips to either Merlyn's or the meeting after? Maybe we could play that instead of Munchkin? (not that I'd complain about playing more Munchkin...)
