    Speaking of which, it looks like I lost my bet for Pakastan being invaded next. Anyone willing to take odds on Syria?

    Syria won't be invaded next at least...

    Although there have been words going back and forth that is alot different from a war. The US knows how bad they are politically right now. Expecially with the Arab world. War with another Arab country wouldn't be smart at all right now.

    Hard to tell if Syria will be the next for 'regime change'. With UK and Spain backing down from that little romp, the coallition of the bullied isn't quite the backup that the US prefers to have. I mean, sure they have the Moroccon mine monkeys - but will that really help if Iraq's moved it's kamakaze camels to Syria * ?

    Okay - I'm damn lazy to search. Has there been any resolutions against Syria? To the best of my little mind, Syria, while a possible country of badness, has not done much that would warrant a look-see from the UN. So if we just start marching on them, it would be a very, very bad idea.

    Well, we did lose the revenue from the Panama canal a little while back.....
