I just made french toast for my girls this past Saturday!

 

French Toast cannot be eligible for this debate, as it's nature is derived by means other then the sacred batters.

Of French Toast I will say this...while a worthy dish...indeed, exceeding the vile pancake in most estimations...French Toast suffers from a general lack of universal constancy.

Where the waffle is born from almost perfect cloning techniques of the iron, and good pancakes can be judged by even a layman of breakfast knowledge...French Toast can run a gambit of wellness, flatness, fluffyness, quality of breading, and most of all, TEMPERATURE...nothing gets colder faster, then French Toast...and nothing suffers more from going cold, then French Toast.

Perfect French Toast is a mighty fine dish...but perfect if oft hard to attain.
