FRESH MEAT!

Hey, new kid here!
Yeah, I'm cheesewire, I'm 15 and I like comic books haha. I've been reading Marvel and DC for about 7 months now and have decided to star reading some star wars comics. I'm not sure what to begin with (I prefer monthlies to TPB's) so any suggestions would be great.
I'm not sure what to post here so I'll just do some general facts about me.
I read loads of comic books, about 35 month.
I like Family Guy.
I play loads of Xbox 360.
I collect action figures. (Only of characters I really like, and only to make my workdesk look cool haha.)

So yeah, I guess that's it.

Welcome! Glad to get some more new people. I don't read many comics, so I can't help you there. I am however addicted to xbox 360. Have fun and stay a while. Who's your favorite SW character?

 

Awesome name, cheesy! Welcome to the JC! Ironically, I read SW comics for a while, then dropped SW comics and went to Marvel. I'm the proud owner of too many Iron Fist comics. Yes, you heard right. Iron Fist, baby. If you're looking for sweet SW comics to collect, I'd recommend doing some of the X-wing series, and maybe following a cool character you like, such as Boba Fett's few comic appearances or something. That was always fun for me to hunt down back when I collected them... I'd pick a character or series and run with it, then do another one when I got done with the former. My pride and joy is every single issue of the Thrawn Trilogy in comic form.

And I luff Family Guy, too. And I collect action figures I really like (My best action figure is the Blue Raja from Mystery Men.).

All of this... well, you are apparently my doppelgänger.

As for my fav character...I'm not sure, I'd probably say Jabba the Hutt...I dunno why, he's just pretty cool and interesting.
Which are the current ongoings BTW???

And yeah, Family Guy rocks. You seen American Dad? I'm watching it right now lol.

Also, have you watched Blue Harvest, the Family Guy spoof/homage of Star Wars???

Comics are splendid. I'm glad to see we're in an agreement there.

Also, Blue Harvest is splendid. Although, I have to admit, I liked the Robot Chicken Star Wars better.

Also, what is an X-box 360? Does it look like my NES?

I have seen American Dad, and while I tend to love Family Guy, I do love ol' Stan and family on occasion.

I have not, however, seen the Star Wars spoof. I own it (recent purchase), but I haven't had a chance to sit and watch it, really.

Well, in general, the JC's got anything and everything you'd ever hope for on a message board. Sports, RPGs, fanfiction, and chatting about everything from the EU to television shows. There's always a lot going on around here.

And then there's me. I'm always fun to watch.
