Friday, June 17 - Force members and 501

I'm excited...count me in. I'll be there in costume. I'd love to learn some more about the 501st if any of them are considering bringing their costumes too... (hint hint ^_^)

An idea, does anyone have an X box they can transport? I have several star wars games that everyone should be able to enjoy. Republic commando, Lego Star Wars, Episode 3, and both KOTOR games.

This sounds awesome. We in the 501st really appreciate the hospitality. The wife will most likely be working that night but I'll see if my Mother-in-Law can watch the chitlins.

On that note, If I can make it, I'll bring my full Sandtrooper costume. Anyone who wishes is welcome to try it on. (BYOT - bring your own tights - hehe)

Awesome! We have approximately 15 confirmed and 15 "I'm interested". If you're an "interested", please confirm one way or another as soon as you can - we need to plan for food and seating. A list of all confirmed will be going out next week. This should be a great to-do.

Thanks to everyone for volunteering to bring stuff - all games, x-boxes, costumes, etc. welcome (and may be needed if the Gungan-like weather keeps up).

If Liann comes, she's bringin' me with her! I could certainly bring Fett and maybe a couple of others if anyone wants to have a look at how they are constructed.

Liann is the Padme costume Queen around here. I'm sure she could be persuaded to bring some of hers too!

I've also been scouting hardware stores for lightsaber bits - if anyone wants to compare notes on hilt construction, that would be much appreciated.

My wife and I are definates. She gave up going to her 10 year college reunion so I could come. I hope to be bringing lots of stuff for the swap meet too. Just a bit of a heads up to anyone who may be interested, I have 5 yards of extra fabric that IMHO will make an awesome Jedi costume. Awesome.
