Well, I love non-American beer. And I love sushi. In fact, I started work today as a tempura cook and after awhile I can on up--maybe even train to become a sushi chef. But sushibeer?

Ask emilsson and/or ObiAnne... I believe they've had it before. [face_mischief]

You mean people have really done this? And ObiAnne? I notice she is in charge of the FanForce Nordic Countries. Well, being of Danish descent and a lover of pickled herring, Aquavit, and Carlsberg beer, I can only imagine what drunken Scandinavians can be up to.[face_thinking]

I've had some rice wine, Japanese Sake, but I've never had Sushi Beer. I'm a Tequilla and Captain Morgan fan myself, not so much into some beer as into some brain damage.

There is no where a word that they were drunken, when they tried sushibeer.

Sushibeer is an old story... Almost history... ;)

Yeh, I think the thread began in 2000. Musta been bored on what to post after TPM had been out. I have some friends here in Honolulu who are either Scandinavian or, like me, of Scandinavian descent, including one who lived in Japan for 3.5 years--but hates SW. He'll be amused over Swedish SW fans creating "sushi beer."

Posted in July '01 by Nwalme Jade in Come and join the fun! A guide through the FF Community Universee

    SushiBeer
FFC?s official drink. Sprang from a frenzied discussion involving Obi Anne, Red149, The Flying Dutchman and Nwalme Jade. Has since given birth to avatars like the screwsushidiver, brought to you by Wolverine, and to home-made medicines like Sushisprin. The main hideout for sushibeer lovers can be found in From 1000+ to 1850+, a modern tale flooded with sushibeer, the sequel to UBB?s classical 1000+ ; but the S-factor has spread almost everywhere now.
    Maybe it?s worth reminding that
    - Obi Anne and emilsson were crazy enough to taste in in real life (for praises, PM them ;) )
    - Mara has started a site about it
    - Official SushiBeerer of the week is a title randomly given on special occasions
    - Sushibeer is now 1 year old!

Looks like you found the right word, Mac. Sushibeer is History.

Only one year? I always thought its birthday was before the time I signed on...

And yes, it is history. Even if I have only read about it, I know that. ;) :D

(Sorry for just jumping in. Couldn't resist. [face_blush] )
