I have just read my first Siriwan fic and find the subject very interesting. I like in the way I like A/T, but unfortunately Obi and Siri cannot be together unless in AU. I just wanted to let someone know that I've been on the boards for 6 month and never gave Siriwan another thought until now. I hope to read more.

Kudos to DarthMousche for her "hell hath no fury" vig that has lit the way.

 

Ooh, I'm working on a little fic for this! I'm about half done, but right now I'm grading World History tests.

 

I think I should clarify. I really like this fic beccause it stayed cannon to JA. I'd like to see other fics of the this sort.

 

I'm also working on the challenge, hopefully it will be done tonight.

Truthfully, I couldn't, so I've incorporated a bit of each of the 7 dwarfs in my fic.

I shoudl warn you, Obi-Wan gets very dopey but it's all in good fun, of course

That's one of my favorite articles. When I first read it, I actually send the writer an email to say thanks for such a great piece.

OK, I got the book because there was no other way I was going to be able to read it unless I got the whole thing.

The title of the extra story is, The Last One Standing. It is a post-ROTS Obi-Wan story, but it's before the first Last of the Jedi books, so, mentally, Obi-Wan is in a sad state; it's a little dark. I think it's very, very good. Watson did a really nice job.

It is also only 18 pages long. Eeek! So, you could probably just read it in the bookstore. Or get it from a library. Watson's books are written for a younger audience, so they read pretty quick. I, unfortunately, don't read even Watson's books quickly enough for a good bookstore skimming, if there were a bookstore around here that I could get to anyway.

I suppose that they thought that they could coerce people like me into buying the book just for the extra material, but after everyone finds out how short the extra story is, I think they're going get an awful lot of book-grazers instead. They should have made it longer.

 

Due to a family emergency I won't be around for a few days...please feel free to bring up any Obi discussions, ideas, questions, etc...any thoughts for challenges please send to me or stella_ripple ...but discussions can just be brought up on the list!
