Star Wars: Comics Companion Next Spring


Star Wars comic book enthusiasts now have an extensive guide to graphic novels and comics with the upcoming Star Wars: The Comics Companion from Dark Horse, scheduled to be in stores in April 2005.
Authors Ryder Windham and Daniel Wallace compiled the 200-page soft cover book, with cover art from Tsuneo Sanda. Covering every Star Wars comic book published up through Episode III, Star Wars: The Comics Companion also includes previous Marvel Comics material that was all collected and reprinted by Dark Horse.

I love the cover art. Is the cover artist doing original art inside the companion?

This is something, that I have been looking forward too for a long time. If there is any media source that many star wars fans do not read it is comics, due to a varying number of reasons such as cost to much, dont like the art etc......

Now with this guide coming out, non comic readers can get a better picture of the star wars glaxey. Also maybe now the comics and books will be able to better work with each other, and not destroy each other characters.

Hopefully this will not turn out to be a bust!!!

I hope that they reprint some of the cooler covers inside, like the Dark Empire trade cover.
