Here goes nothing. What do you guys think about this for a banner? Going with the Outer Rim Lookouts. I thought that this image of Luke looking over the horizion was the ultimate theme for you guys. I hope you dig it. Feel free to leave some feed back any kind of idea's or anything. I was told to go for it. So I did!!!

The only suggestion I have is that the website be put on there somewhere. We have a meeting on the 7th, so we'll definitly be showing this off to see what everyone else thinks. Thanks, dude!

can we actually use trademarked images from star wars? Thats been my only concern with this so far. I have the image that we are using for our online banners that a lot of us like too so its not dead set on what design we are going with.

No, we're going to have everyone who attends the February meeting take a look at them and see what would work best for us. I just wish I was good enough with PhotoShop to try some stuff out as well, but... it ain't happening. What I like won't matter if the group decides otherwise. I'm not Emperor... yet. LOL

 

If it helps promote your fan force and your not making any money off it then I see no problem with using SW images. I mean at the end of the day if it were not for us the fans, Lucas would be working at Burger King. (No offense if any one works at Burger King. I happen to really enjoy their burgers)

If any body has any idea's lay them on me. I'm very open to anything you guys want to do. It's your banner and I'm just trying to help out a fellow fan force.

Don't forget. We are the ones keeping the saga alive. Using any SW image I would say is a tribute to what Star Wars means to us all.

I have another idea on this same image. I'll work on it.

It's hard to find the images that you mentioned Milady. Not to mention to get them to work together.

i found a cool website that has some of the images we discussed, i'll post the link later (gotta work, ya know ). it's good for future use if nothing else.

again, this is cool! i think the image is cool. the wording (which is minor b/c it can be so easily changed) will probably need to be tweaked a bit, but overall it's really cool!
