Nobody should be able to feel Leia's presence in the Force, at least not as a standing-out Force-user signature distinct from the Force-signatures of everyone around them. At this point, Leia has not been awakened to the Force. She has not had her mind opened to it, much less begun training in its use. Vader, her own father, apparently didn't sense it when she was right in front of him on the Death Star in ANH.

 

I am pretty sure she deducted that Anakin loved Padme when she says I know.
