Great job mike
Thanks Jessie! It's pretty precise on the directions, as nobody should have any issue finding the beach. Make sure to look online to "SEE" your surroundings, as that way you'll recongize them when you come on Sunday. If anyone hasn't looked as of yet, i've posted directions two postings ago.
Uh...do we have a pirate showing up at all?
I think Lifegaurd Vader might show up??? Or I just wont brush my teeth and talk like a pirate lol
The countdown to fun in the sun has begun! We'll see all of you tomorrow when you all show up. The Wifey and I will be set up by 10 happily awaiting all of you. Please remember as in all IEFF events, this is kid friendly and no alcohol please. Plus the beach doesn't allow it...teehee!
The answer maybe no but it dosent hurt to ask but are there BBQ pits there or can we take a little BBQ. Let the fun begin
Weather for tomorrow via weather.com is as follows:
Partly Cloudy with high of 73°F
Wind: From SW at 10 mph
Max. Humidity: 67%
UV Index: 10+ Extreme
Sunset: 7:45 PM PT
Make sure to wear plenty of sunblock and bring a light something to wear if you get a little chilly later in the day.
As far as a pit is concerned for a BBQ, where we're at, there aren't any on our side, as it's not as crowded. The beach is actually set up with two sides. Here's the actual wording from their website:
Aliso Beach Frequently Asked Questions Frequently Asked Questions:
Are personal bbq's allowed on beach?
No....You may bring a small size bbq, one that will fit in the fire pit. A metal grate may also be used for barbequing as long as it is placed over the fire pit. BBQ's larger in size are not allowed on the beach, the sidewalk, nor the parking lot.
Aliso Beach Park features sandy beaches, rocky promontories, and scenic coastal foothills. These geological features combine to form one of the most recreationally appealing areas along the entire California coast. The park consists of two sections, the beach itself and an inland area surrounded by native coastal chaparral. Aliso Creek winds its way down from the Laguna foothills and empties into the sea. A marine life refuge borders to the north and south, rocky outcroppings clearly mark the park boundary.

had an awesome time it was great seeing everyone again thanks fearless leader for setting this up it was a blast!!!
It was great seeing those 3 mermen also
We had a great time with everyone. Sorry I could'nt make it to the merman spot with all of you.. Got to start walking around more, but the photos I saw of the mermen was funny as heck. It is a beautiful beach. and I think I would like to go back there someday again. Beaches were not always fun for me, lately, but I do like sitting there and watching the waves and sea life. Thank you Mike for suggesting that beach. I wonder what will be the next trip?
I want to say how great it was seeing all of you there who decided to join us for the beach trip...we had such a great time with all of you. I hope you enjoyed the beach we picked as much as we enjoy going there. Here's a few highlights from the day and the link to all the fun pics as well. Enjoy!
