Funniest scene in AOTC

I loved the Obi-Wan lines "Oh no not good." and "Good job." those were great. All of C-3PO's scenes on Geonosis were great. When Yoda picked up his cain after his fight with Dooku I thought it was great, but then my friend yelled in the theater "He don't need no ****ing cain!" funniest thing ever!

 

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned, but I chuckle when Dooku says, "Oh no, my friend, they've made a mistake, a terrible mistake, they've gone too far, this is madness" as one giant sentence. He belts out this string of denials to the point where it's no wonder Obi-Wan mistrusts him. (I like this scene, BTW, so it's not like I'm dissing the dialog or the acting, I just like the delivery)

Really, how can people find it funny when Shmi dies? That's just sick.

Palpy forcing this decrepit smile cracks me up every time. I never get tired of laughing at old people.

When Padme kicks that monster in the arena and the monster falls to the ground. Nute Gunray is surprised and says 'she can't do that, shoot her or something!'

Actually all Nute's lines are really funny!

 

Yeah, I love Nute in AOTC.

My favorite is when Jango dives for Mace´s lightsaber only to have it fly into Mace´s hand first. The look on Mace´s face after that is priceless.

 

- when the beast slashed at Padme... Nute gunray turn his head and laugh... I was in stiches....

 

Nothing was funny.

 

another funny part was when Padme's execution beast jumped and grab that guard.. (and the guard let out the Famous Star wars scream)... I'm surprise I didn't see this one posted yet...

It's soo funny because it's true. Or something like that.

 

I have to go with the Palpatine "I love democracy" speach. I never heard so much theatre laughter on an "inside joke."

 

A lot of things made me crack a smile. I had some chuckles.

But the outright laughter for me came when Yoda said "Around the survivors a perimeter create."

I laughed so hard, I started tearing up and that was bad because I was trying to watch the arena battle.

Yoda is the man.

 

I busted a gut when Padme' pulls away from Anakin after their first kiss. The confused look on Anakin's face right before the scene ends was golden! Had me rolling as well as the rest of the theater.

 

I know it's already been said, but one of my favourite parts was when Anakin says "Then we decided to come and resuce you." and Obi-Wan replies "Good Job." after looking up at his hands chained to a pole.

Another one is the fireside scene. Not the dialogue or anything, just the dress Padmé's wearing! I mean, mixed signals! It's like, pull up your dress if you don't want anything to happen. Maybe actually put something appropriate on. Words say no, actions say yes.

The funniest part is when Paddme says "I'll go to"

what wasnt funny was how C3p0 was so human-like in the movie. I mean robots cant grab onto this or anything, I know it was computer but it looked rediculous, so i guess what was funny was how they designed that part

 

I thought what was funny was, when 3P0's head was being dragged by R2 and he said "what a drag."

 

Judging by audience reaction the funniest stuff was any time Natalie Portman opened her mouth. Her lines got tons of laughs...too bad they were unintentional!

 

I remember no intentional laughter with the audience I saw it with.

 

Since the audience wasn't intending to laugh when they walked into the movie theater the laughs were UN-intentional.

The audience I saw it with couldn't stop laughing. It was pretty embarrassing.

 

At least there was no "scat" humor in this one.

Too bad the dialouge sunk to an all time low.

 

My favourite scene by far is well everything mentioned on this thresd. This **** is funny! I didn't notice the "Care to the Old Folks Home" line though.

Hayden makes me feel etc. I could go on for years.
