TESB: Chewie trying to board the Millenium Falcon with Threepio in pieces hung on his back, and banging Threepio's head repeatedly as he tries to get on.

"No reward is worth this."

 

He did it on purpose at least once to shut C-3PO up. Or how I see the scene anyway.

 

3PO freaking out on the Falcon during the asteroid chase and the trip to Bespin.

 

I know I would be. Didn't Chewie freak out at least once? I remember his eye's widening at least once.

 

I remember him getting pissed at 3PO and shutting him off.

 

He threw him off once didn't he?

 

Yeah. Anything C3PO was doing in TESB was priceless. I found him funny in ANH and ROTJ, too. It's amusing how Han, Leia, and Chewie are annoyed by 3PO, and then they were desperate to put him back together later. What a wonderful group.

Thinking about this, I recall that I am always amused by people's voice going really quiet once they realise something fairly important, and perhaps imminently dangerous, so for me:

Nein Nunb - "Aw dammit, just remembered, I was supposed to call the refrigerator repair guy."

Lando Calrissian - "There must be some kind of reading on that shield, up or down."

Nein Nunb - "Oookay...I'm talking about my fridge...what are you talking about?"

Lando Calrissian - "Well, how could they be jamming us, if they don't...know that we're coming. Break of the attack! The shield is still up!"


Note: In case you are unaware, this exchange got a great reaction in one African country, because the Sullustan speech was in one of their dialects, and it "was something about a fridge".

 

Parts of the Coruscant speeder chase, particularly the parts when Obi-Wan says, "I don't mind flying but what you're doing is suicide!"

When C-3PO says, "It's against my programming to impersonate a deity" and that it isn't "proper."

Yoda saying, "Surprised?" to Palpatine

 

I always found it odd, but I find ESB to be the funniest of the Star Wars films (haven't seen TFA yet) despite it being one of the darker episodes.

Case in point the med bay scene in ESB when Leia calls Han a nerf herder. Just the expressions on everyone's faces during that scene, even artoo makes a funny chirp.

Then you have the Yoda and R2-D2 encounter which is pretty hilarious too.

 

^ Yeah, R2 & Yoda's tug-of-war over the flashlight is comedy gold.

 

I really love the bit in ROTS where Obi wan is telling R2 to stop the elevator and R2 is trying not to be heard, and then after that where R2 sets the battle droids on fire.

 

Threepio and Artoo fight before going separate ways on Tatooine.

 

This and R2-D2 vs Yoda.

 

Obi-Wan in ROTS: "Not to worry. We are still flying half a ship."
And of course, Yoda being silly on Dagobah.

"You must have Jedi reflexes if you race pods". (Jar-Jar tries to grab a piece of fruit with his tongue, but Qui-Gon catches it)
