Further development of the Jedi Broad Squad...

Ok, I've been thinking about this... the JBS is growing and it's not just contained to members of the Pheonix and RMFF ladies...

And like every good group should do is promote a charity and raise some money! I suggest that we talk this over with all the JBS members and possibly get a website where we can sell t shirts and stuff... (proceeds going to charity) and promote awarness that ladies like SW too.

It also may be helpful to start a couple programs or something that are aimed at young women. As for charities I suggest maybe one that helps people who are victims of domestic violence or promotes women's rights in the middle east (since that is such a hot topic right now and I have some background on the matter).

I will volunteer my time skills to develop a web page and stuff.

So what do the girls think about this?

(BTW, I thought of this at work... it's like working at a think tank, my hands are on auto but my mind is going off on all kinds of tangents... )

And I think we're more about fun than anything else... I like the idea, but think we should stick w/ the informality of the thing and leave the other stuff to the FF's

 

We could sign up for the breast cancer walk this year or next. Wear our shirts & raise money for that?

Drats! I still need that graphic I'll get it and then we can get some shirts made on our own

 

We had discussed the possibility of getting the graphic up on CafePress, so that people can order them on their own, and it doesn't have to be such a big deal every time we place an order. I'm not really in the loop on it, and I have no idea what the cost might be, but info will surely be passed along.

On a related note: The JBS has officially gone global. Void sent a shirt to [edit]somebody far away[/edit].
