Future Meeting Places

This is just a place to brainstorm for locations to hold future meetings. Suggest anything and everything! Of course, try to make a case for that place, too.

Places we've met in the past:
Crowne Plaza in Indianapolis (not likely to meet there again anytime soon!)
Jed's in Toledo

One of the Metro parks in Toledo...maybe for a BBQ.

I might be able to get the conference room in Nitschke Hall at UT. I can use my pull as ASCE President...

Franklin Park would be a good idea, several of the other FanForce chapter hold their meetings at the mall.

*laughs* you saw right through me Tobey-Wan.

I'm not sure how expensive it is, but how about something like Sportway of Toledo? Its one of those places that has mini-golf, go-carts and batting cages. Something like that could be a *fun* meeting.

For quieter meetings, we could use UT or the Library. There is a brand new library in BG that I bet we could use.

A meeting place the might appeal to poeple is Panera Bread...or a more *adult* meeting could be held at Maumee Bay Brewing for dinner...or someplace similar.

We just need to keep in mind that we might get younger members, or collge students who wont have money

These are some great ideas. I wish I was around the Toledo area a little more so that I could come up with some of my own.

Tobey-Wan... you can still make a suggestion! If you have am idea I am sure that Rholynn or I can come up with a place.

Well since I made this thread to be more of a "place" discussion, I feel kinda left out. I can certainly offer ideas for things to do at places that I'm somewhat familiar with.

Tobey-Wan is there anything to do in Tiffin?

I know you guys have a really nice park there. I ran there in High School for the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival and seemed like a good place to have an outdoor type meeting.

Hedges-Boyer is a nice park, but Tiffin just seems to be so far away from everywhere else. I could see Findlay being a good meeting place, but I don't think Tiffin would.

Tiffin is kinda far...just something to keep in mind.
